What to expect
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. for a 30-minute drive to Poroy station. At 8:30 a.m., board the Belmond Hiram Bingham train for a 3.5-hour trip to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy a welcome cocktail, views, and live music. Relax in the dining, bar, and observation cars, and savor a gourmet brunch onboard.
In Aguas Calientes, our staff will take you to the bus for a 30-minute ride to Machu Picchu. After presenting your ticket and ID, enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour, exploring the citadel’s history, architecture, etc.
Afterward, have afternoon tea at the Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant before returning by bus to Aguas Calientes. At 5:20 p.m., board the return train to Poroy, where you’ll enjoy dinner and drinks. Our staff will transfer you back to Cusco, arriving around 9:30 p.m.
