Datong Private Car Day Tour

We recently made a day trip to Datong from Beijing, and one of the highlights was the flexibility of arranging our own itinerary to suit our preferences. We had Zhang Xia as our driver for a 7-seater car, and she was attentive, professional, and very hospitable throughout the trip. She thoughtfully prepared bottled drinking water for us, and communication was smooth and efficient via WeChat. She even went the extra mile to help us purchase shuttle bus tickets and guided us along the way, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. We visited Yungang Grottoes and Hanging Temple, both of which are must-see attractions when in Datong. Overall, the journey was very comfortable—Zhang Xia was punctual and drove safely throughout. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone planning a trip to Datong.

I would absolutely recommend this service to save time and make sure you get to enjoy at least two attractions in Datong. In particular, Master Tao helped us get tickets to the Hengshan Temple. His service was essential in ensuring that our trip's stages were on time. In addition, he accompanied us safely by car. Fantastic!

A very good experience. Liu was our driver. We went to the Yungang Grottoes and the Great Wooden Pagoda and enjoyed it. Liu helped us with tickets to both places, was very efficient, and took us to a delicious local restaurant for lunch.

The service provider company before we arrived had monitored and provided many very useful suggestions for us who were visiting Datong city for the first time, Datong itself has many locations that can be visited and it is very difficult to get information. Our driver Kiki was very attentive and helped take us to the ticket location or entrance location. Nice car. Nice and punctual driver - Cao sifu. We communicate via WeChat the day before to confirm time and location and photo of the car. The driver also took us to the correct ticket place for Wukong temple.

Excellent experience! Driver Mr Zhao ( 赵师夫）was friendly, took good care of us and even recommended and dropped us of at a nice local restaurant for dinner after the tours. Very good experience. The company was overall very responsive and reached out a couple of days before our programme to confirm and set up a group chat (WeChat) with the driver. The Yungang Grottoes (云冈石窟) is an absolutely amazing place to visit.
