Reviews
The food sample making cafe was super fun family friendly activity! Everyone in our group incline my 8 year son and husband really enjoyed the activity. My husband was a bit uncertain and skeptical at first when I told him I booked this experience through Klook but was pleasantly surprised after it was all said done. The staff are friendly and helpful. And at the end you get a cute and unique souvenir to bring home.
This was actually a really fun experience for a friend and I visiting Japan. You always see the artificial food samples in restaurant and café windows. So being able to make your own and bring it home as a souvenir with something we wanted to do for some fun. Our instructor was really friendly and helpful. When she learned that my friend was there for a wedding, she was so sweet and congratulated him on his wedding. We booked a morning slot, and it ended up being just the two of us. It was pretty cool to get what felt like a VIP experience. I made the omurice and my friend made the crepe dessert
very delightful and interesting experience to enjoy with family and friends! the place is very easy to find and access, the process is also very clear while the staffs are enthusiastic and friendly. I love how the match your lunch food with the model you made.
Very nice experience! I took the workshop in Japanese, since I can speak and understand it enough to follow the instructions. You get a choice of pasta or omurice to make with the materials provided, and the instructor tells you the amounts needed to make the exact quantity to create a nice product. In the case of omurice, the shape of the omelette was pre-made to save time, and I would have liked to make that as well, or to get more details on the materials and techniques used. Once the materials were ready and placed, the dish went off to the oven to cure, and I was led downstairs to enjoy the drink included in the activity. I had a nice iced matcha latte while I chatted about my vacation with the instructors and with a Japanese family (also in the shop to take the class, as walk-ins). Very cute experience that left me with a nice memory of kind professionals, and an odd but all-Japanese souvenir of display food!
This workshop was very fun. The real and sample food looked so similar. I highly recommend to anyone looking for workshops to attend.
it’s a great and fun activity! love that you have a souvenir that you can keep after! lunch was simple but good too!
We created our fake food and didn’t order the meal. When we arrived to the facility we were taken in right away and started our project. We were able to choose from three fake food options to choose from. It was a quick experience, not a whole lot of explaining. There was a English speaking instructor that walked us through the steps during the project so no issues there. Once we completed the fake dish they had to bake it to solidify all of the pieces so they brought us downstairs to the cafe and we received drinks. After about 10 minutes we received our projects and that was the end of the service.
This was such a fun experience! It was super quick yet very fun! I enjoyed talking with the staff and making my little omurice!
This was an amazing experience ! I got to do everything from beginning to end except put the food in the oven :) I always wondered how these plastic foods were made…now I know! Miss Oota helped us and she was SO friendly and helpful. She spoke English and the instructions were very clear. She even helped give us tips to make it look better. I didn’t get the meal option where they make the real food which you made from plastic, and I deeply regretted it! The resulting plastic meals looked so yummy and realistic, so it was such a missed opportunity :) maybe if you have a group you can share one of the meals together. I recommend this to anyone who is in awe of the amazing fake food of Japan! Thank you to all of the workers !!
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They could speak English as well! Would recommend for people that have not tried
