Hanoi Vegetarian Cooking Class: Free Wine Tasting & Recipe Book

One of the best experiences of our trip to Vietnam! Alex is very knowledgeable and gave us many interesting facts during the visit to the local market. The cooking itself was fun and the results were delicious. She made sure our vegan dishes didn’t mix with the non-vegan ones. The location is so beautiful by the way!

Jesse (our host) was super thoughtful and made it really easy for solo travellers like me to feel included right away. He brought us to the local market, explained all the ingredients and even checked in on everyone’s dietary preferences. One of those experiences where the small details really made my day

We really loved the cooking class with Alex! She was so nice, explained everything properly, and answered all our questions. We were able to decide in the group which main dishes out of 3 different options we will cook. Everything tasted so good. As we are vegetarian, she also made sure that no dishes got mixed up during the cooking. At the end, we received all recipes to cook the dishes again at home☺️Thanks for the great experience🫶🏻

An excellent and well presented cooking class. a very informative and knowledgeable chef. everything was explained and demonstrated professionally by still remaining friendly. Tour of the local wet market was again well orchestrated and explained thoughtfully. I was the only vegetarian in the class of 9, but the chef understud and kept the non vegetarian food and prep areas separate. A great friendly event with a five star rating. Thank you again. Our chef was amazing. He explained everything to us in great detail. He involved us from the very beginning - right from buying the raw materials in the market! He was very considerate of vegetarian lifestyle and ensured that we were not made to feel uncomfortable at any point. The cooking experience, the food and the coffee was brilliant. We had a lovely time. His house and kitchen were so cozy and nice too.

Fantastic and unique experience! First, you go to the local market where all the ingredients are explained, and then you go to the owner's house to cook the proposed dishes. Really fun and lovely! Then everyone eats together, highly recommended!!

Chef Mango was amazing. We had a highly informative and entertaining visit to a local market and then went to the really well appointed cooking school. Great instruction and our meal was delicious. Very conscious of allergies and took good care of my wife who is celiac. overall very happy and would certainly recommend

The cooking class was an amazing experience. Mango is such a charismatic and fun person. I enjoyed listening to her. I think the dishes had the perfect difficulty level and allowed time to try out new techniques.
