Seville Cathedral and La Giralda Ticket

體驗：An absolute must-visit attraction in Seville! I highly recommend booking your tickets in advance on Klook so you don't have to wait in the ticket line. The exterior architecture and the interior carvings and decorations are breathtakingly beautiful. The entrance to the Giralda Tower is located inside the cathedral, and my suggested route is to climb the tower first before exploring the cathedral floor. To get to the top, you walk up 34 inclined ramps (there are no stairs), which rewards you with an amazing view of the Seville city center. A quick warning: if you have bad knees or get tired easily, take your time and rest at the corners. There is only one narrow ramp shared by people going up and coming down, so it can get a bit tight.

A very fruitful visit to the cathedral, I planned for a 1.5 hours visit but end up using 3 hours. The tower of the Cathedral offers a great view of the Seville city. The altar, chapels in the cathedrals are also very stunning

Must do in Sevilla. As easy as showing the confirmation to the staff. The gothic design cathedral is the resting place of Christian Columbus’s 14% remains, which DNA analysis proved in 2024. The oranges from the trees in the cathedral garden serves the Royal family only, therefore it named “the holy orange”. La Giralda is right next to the cathedral and you can see spectacular views of Sevilla from the tower’s top. Simple as get into the tower on the scheduled time. To get to the top with no stairs, just slope is such a blessing to those had climbed Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and Milan Cathedral.

Stepping inside the church, one is instantly transported from the scorching Andalusian sun into a tranquil and solemn sanctuary. Looking up, the towering Gothic arches stretch and intertwine like colossal trees carved from stone. Sunlight streams through the stained-glass windows, casting colorful halos onto the mottled stone floor. At the deepest part of the nave is the breathtaking main altarpiece (Retablo Mayor). Countless gilded statues intricately depict biblical stories, shimmering in the faint candlelight, exuding a quiet yet powerful force. However, the most striking feature within the church is undoubtedly the Tomb of Columbus. Statues of the four Spanish kings—Castile, Leon, Aragon, and Navarre—bear the navigator's coffin aloft. Standing before the tomb, the stark contrast between the tumultuous age of maritime power and this serene hall evokes a profound sense of the ebb and flow of time and history.

The entrance for advance ticket holders is different from the entrance for those purchasing tickets on-site. With advance tickets, you can enter directly next to the Giralda Tower, which is wonderful as you don't have to wait in line on a hot day. Seville Cathedral is considered one of the three largest cathedrals in Europe, and its golden main altar inside is truly magnificent. The blend of mosque and Catholic church architectural styles is also very unique. You can see artifacts showcasing different Renaissance and Gothic architectural and decorative styles, making it well worth spending three to four hours to slowly appreciate.

very convenient and easy to purchase and redeem (also relatively cheaper because of platform discounts). the cathedral is amazing although repairs are currently ongoing. don't miss columbus's tomb. climbing up the giralda tower is not that hard either and the view at the top is just amazing. highly recommended!

Booking with Klook was incredibly convenient: no need to purchase extra tickets, you can just enter when it's time. The tower itself was a bit uninteresting, just walking up to see the view, but the cathedral itself is beautiful. Seeing the four kings carrying Columbus's coffin is definitely worth it.

This day's Seville itinerary was almost perfect. The Cathedral and Royal Alcázar were indescribably beautiful, and the architecture of the old town was magnificent, with its planning and layout being textbook-perfect. *Inside the magnificent Cathedral, you can see four kings carrying Columbus's coffin.
