Kento was a funny and great guide to have for our day trip to Kakamura + Enoshima Island. He made sure to get us to where we needed to be on time and explained it perfectly to make it seamless as possible. He recommended some great spots for us to try at each place. Thanks so much Kento for the lovely day!!
Efficient, on time, love the ground rules for everyone. Allen was great & knowledgeable! I admire his animated, jolly personality. The places we visited were quaint gem towns. you must try the fish cakes, whitefish tempura or the seafood bowl.
Kento (also goes by Alan) was our tour guide. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The trip itself was chaotic on a Sunday but he managed to get our group of 45 on/off train twice without losing anyone. Kamakura & Eonishima are beautiful sites to visit BUT be warned, lots of walking and very crowded and hot when we went in July on a Sunday. Because the bus ride from/to Tokyo took approximately 1.5 - 2 hrs, we were limited on how much time to spend in each area. Eonishima allowed us only 2 hrs, because of huge crowds, not enough to climb stairs AND sit down to eat because of long lines for restaurant. *You’ll be lucky if you get Kento as your tour guide. He worked really hard yesterday in the heat & crowd but had so much energy for us! **Try to avoid summer when it’s hot & sunny - July/Aug if you want to actually enjoy the trip!
The Kamakura day trip experience was fantastic! Our guide (Ms. Seiga Kanazawa) was professional and friendly, her historical explanations were rich and engaging, and the itinerary was perfectly paced. We had ample time to visit and take photos at each attraction, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The tour covered all the major ancient temples and coastal scenery of Kamakura, offering breathtaking views. It saved us the hassle of researching transportation and planning ourselves, making the entire journey relaxing and fulfilling. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful day trip to Kamakura and Enoshima with our guide. He was young, friendly, and spoke both English and Chinese, which made everything very easy. The tour was very well organized, and he was always punctual and easy to contact on WhatsApp. He showed us beautiful places in Kamakura, including a traditional temple, lovely sakura, and even a hidden pond. One special moment was taking a local train and stopping to take photos from the same view as a famous anime scene. We also visited the Great Buddha, then took the train to Enoshima and walked to the island. Everything was beautiful, and the information he shared was very useful. He was also always happy to answer our questions. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a beautiful, well-organized, and enjoyable tour.
The Kamakura trip experience was an absolute blast. I had Allan Tan as our tour guide and honestly his high energy and enthusiasm definitely made the tour way more fun than it should be. The tour, despite being packed and quite rush, was full of very interesting history of Japan and many photogenic spots. My favourite part was 100% the trip to Enoshima, it was a magical experience to walk through the whole island and go to the shrines in there to do some prayers. If I were to suggest any improvement, I hope that the trip can have more time for us to explore, other than that I had a wonderful experience!
I loved the Japanese feel and scenery of the rural village. The guide was also very kind. He suggested we take the next train to the Slam Dunk-themed location so we could sit, which was great. I don't speak English well, but I was able to easily understand the guide's explanations by recording them with ChatGPT and then translating them. He also told us historical stories, which was interesting. The guide was a KO guide and felt like a cute, kind younger brother~:)
Our tour guide Michael was very organised and knowledgeable on the history of each area. Kamakura was beautiful but Enoshima was definitely the highlight of the trip. We grabbed lunch, denim ice cream and pretty shell souvenirs. It was also really cool to see the iconic slam dunk location in person :)
I really like the arrangement of this whole trip, everything went smoothly, the time for each attraction was arranged very appropriately, especially we have a passionate and energetic director: ALLAN TAN He flexibly appears wherever we need him🤣 He is like an energetic superman, solving our temptations for each attraction, from the small process of washing hands and worshiping at the shrine to the history of the entire attraction and everything related✉️, you can understand it through his vivid and interesting explanations. I am really super grateful to him for giving me and my parents a wonderful journey🥰
The views along the way were beautiful even on a rainy and cloudy day that I went. Alex, our tour guide was very helpful, clear with instruction in both English and Chinese. Enoshima island was so beautiful, lots of different locations to take pictures and enjoy time.
