What to expect

In the morning, depart from Shanghai in a comfortable vehicle directly to Wuzhen, Jiaxing. First, tour Wuzhen East Scenic Zone, stroll along the long, ancient paths, admire the centuries-old camphor trees, the small bridges, flowing water, and homes, and check out the classic scenes from "Years Like Water" – Fengyuan Twin Bridges, experiencing the rich Jiangnan water town atmosphere.
Afterwards, head to Xitang Ancient Town, and visit the Huguo Suiliang Wang Temple to hear interesting legends and stories. Take a boat trip on the West Scenic Zone route, shuttling through the waterways of the ancient town (of course, you can also choose to take a boat trip in Wuzhen according to your preference) and experience a different kind of water town charm. Stroll through Zui Garden, admiring the rare Jiangnan micro-brick arch bridge and print works. Head to the Button Museum to learn about the button-making process and experience the fun of DIY.
In the afternoon, explore Xiyuan Garden, and experience the tranquility and beauty of the classical garden. Then, tour Shipin Lane, the longest and narrowest lane in Xitang, known as "A Thread of Sky," perfect for taking photos.
In the evening, stroll along the Yanyu Gallery, admiring the beautiful ancient town scenery reflected in the lights on the river. Finally, head to the Songzi Laifeng Bridge, and feel the wonderful wishes of the couples on the bridge.
