After applying, the guide will contact you directly via WhatsApp to discuss meeting arrangements. When I told them I had an early morning hot air balloon tour, they contacted the hot air balloon tour operator and arranged for them to drop me off at Memnon at 8:00 AM after the balloon tour, so I was able to meet up with the guide at Memnon. We went in the order of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, stone statue factory?, and Hatshepsut's Temple. In the Valley of the Kings, they told me about the highlights and recommended tombs. They also carefully explained how to buy tickets. When I told them I wanted to see Tutankhamun's tomb, I was charged an extra $15 because the driver was waiting in the parking lot. (We were a group of 3, so $5 per person x 3). That was unfortunate, but I reluctantly paid. But the guide itself was good. I was able to see everything slowly without any time constraints. On the way, I was taken to a stone statue factory, where I was encouraged to buy a stone statue and asked for a tip, but I didn't buy anything and didn't pay a tip. Here, I was told that the toilet was free, but I didn't use it. I was also able to see Hatshepsut's Temple at my own pace. On the way back, they drove me back to the hotel. I was taken to a stone statue factory that was not on the itinerary, and there was a charge for the driver, but perhaps it can't be helped since most Egyptians ask for tips for everything.
Our tour guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. His 20 years of experience and being a Luxor native gave a unique perspective on the tour. Our driver, Abdu, was prompt, safe, and friendly. Thesr 2 made our trip even more special.
Had a wonderful time! Osama is very knowledgeable with the places we visited. Highly recommendable!
It was a comfortable and private tour based on a really professional and informative explanation. If you can only listen to it in English, it is a really high-quality explanation. The restaurant we were taken to at the end of the tour had a good view and a good price.
Thanks to Ahmed. Perfect guide in Luxor West Bank. Especially with nice car (with A/C). I hope many people enjoy with Ahmed's kind private tour. This is the best tour I've ever had 🩵Ahmed ❤️
Our tour guide Ahmed is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Egypt! We had a very pleasant time visiting the different attractions and would recommend people to do the same to have a fuss-free vacation!
I had a fun trip with my family. The guide, Osama, spoke English very well. He kindly explained everything at each destination. He even used a translation app to explain things for my mother, who doesn't speak English. He was also punctual in the mornings, so I was able to travel with peace of mind.
The guide was kind and great. However, the schedule was supposed to be until 4 PM, but it ended around 12 PM. It seems good for killing time in the morning.
i had a wonderful time, gain more knowledge about the history , the guide was knowledgeable and professional
The overall itinerary schedule was okay, but the driver was 20 minutes late. Also, because it was probably booked just the day before, it was difficult to find a guide during the peak season. The guide they finally arranged for us is not recommended at all. The guide, Mohad, had relatively poor professional knowledge and English skills, and the explanations were not smooth. In addition, he was very sexist. At the beginning of the trip, he only explained to the male friend. Only after I pointed it out did he explain to both of us. Moreover, his general spoken English resulted in the content being only half-understood. He answered some of our questions irrelevantly, and later he only read the content on the signs or spoke randomly, such as making mistakes at the Temple of Hatshepsut. At the Valley of the Kings, he just said a few words to the sign and let us go in and visit on our own. Overall, the feeling was average and not recommended. It felt like we just paid for a private car.
