Stunning bend of styles. Bteathtaking Bosphorus location. Note that photography is not allowed inside the palace, so focus on capturing the spectacular exterior and the gardens.
Had breakfast at the cafe before going into the palace but since it's under restoration work it took less than an hour to finish touring the whole palace.
Personally, I liked this palace the best. The price is cheaper than other places, so go there.
Didn’t attend the museum I’m sorry
Palace was under restoration, did not stop us from being able to do the tour, we were there early so skip the line was not necessary, however seeing what some of the attractions were like is good to have. The palace is worth the visit, unfortunately you cannot take photo on the inside.
great experience. great place to have coffee. must visit in Turkey.
excellent way to skip a long queue
You'll receive the QR code via WhatsApp the day before. It's very convenient.

Guide

  • Enjoy skip-the-line access to the historic Beylerbeyi Palace, an imperial Ottoman summer retreat on the Bosphorus
  • Explore the beautifully designed Second Empire style interiors by architect Sarkis Balyan, reflecting Ottoman elegance
  • Discover the rich history of Sultan Abdulhamid II's final residence, located just north of the Bosphorus Bridge
  • Experience the serene surroundings of the Beylerbeyi neighborhood in Istanbul’s Üsküdar district, with breathtaking Bosphorus views

Situated in the Beylerbeyi neighborhood of the Üsküdar district in Istanbul, Turkey, the Beylerbeyi Palace graces the Asian side of the Bosphorus. Constructed between 1861 and 1865, this imperial Ottoman summer retreat now resides just north of the inaugural Bosphorus Bridge. Notably, it served as the final place of residence for Sultan Abdulhamid II, who was under house arrest until his passing in 1918.

Designed in the Second Empire style by Sarkis Balyan, Beylerbeyi Palace seems fairly restrained compared to the excesses of the earlier Dolmabahçe or Küçüksu palaces.
