Reviews
the high tea experience at bay resort was superb, staff were very accommodating. we loved the food! :) — also we did not queue for long at the lantern release as we already have the vouchers. everything went smoothly. highly recommended!
The front office brought us to the Restaurant via buggy which was a short ride away. We had a selection of teas to choose from. The presentation of the afternoon tea set was pretty 😍The server explained the dishes. I do feel it would be even better if they had like a menu card as well, as sometimes I could not catch what they say about the dish. At least I could read what I’m about to eat. the lantern release was much later in the evening. Easy to find the meeting place (it’s near the Japanese Bridge). Gave us a cup of some herbal drink before bringing us to the boat. A very enjoyable experience to spend the day, and end the day (lantern release) and it’s worth it.
Enjoying afternoon tea at a five-star hotel offers a beautiful ambiance. The staff here are incredibly friendly and polite, and the food is abundant. Special shout-out to the restaurant staff for taking many beautiful photos for us! Highly recommended. For the lantern release, it was extremely crowded on Saturday. Booking through Klook allowed us to board immediately and enjoy the sunset views. I recommend boarding at 6:30 PM to enjoy both the sunset and the night view.
We enjoyed this activity very much. The afternoon tea was delious, nice Lotus tea. The atmosphere and view in the hotel is great. the boat tour also is a nice experience.
Afternoon tea was very interesting. Is Vietnamese style high tea, all local delight in western twist, is great experience. Lantern release is a little difficult to locate the ticket counter to exchange ticket. luckily we have a guide to guide us to the counter. was a very long wait to get into boat but it's a wonderful experience and very spiritual. beautiful to look from the boat to both side of the river with all lantern lights up on all shops. is a must when visit Hoi An
The vendor contacted me beforehand to confirm the booking. The vendor was very quick and kind in answering my questions. The high tea was very worth it and we had a lovely time near the river. We had to reschedule the Lantern Activity to another day because it was about to rain during our original schedule. The vendor was so nice in helping us make sure everything went smoothly depsite pur concern.
afternoon tea was nice. small but nice food. beautiful place. great service. amazing views. really nice experience
The afternoon tea set was very impressive. One set for 2 persons were served. It included various local desserts also. My kids and my wife enjoyed it and had Mango juice instead of tea. The old town were close to the hotel just accross the small bridge. We had dinner at local restaurant which is close to the town before the lantern boat. If you're traveling at summer season, recommended to have the tea around 5pm enjoying the sunset as it is too hot out there. Taking the boat around 6pm was perfect timing as we could enjoy the sunset on the boat and taking pictures. After the sunset, walking around were much better as the temperature were much cooler.
you need a long walk before you can reach the boat because vehicle are not allowed to enter the old town, the ticket we book comes with a tea at lantern release and an afternoon tea at moire hotel. the snack included were all very delicious and satisfying. despite of the long walk i would still recommend.
High tea was great, got to taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine though not so many choices but still the food was delectable but the staff from Moire starting from reception, driver, and the restaurant were very helpful and attentive, they cater to our needs even if were just guests in the restaurant, helped organised transport back to our hotel, that for me was super excellent and good customer service. As for the Latern release it was an advantage to buy it in advance, the process was quick and easy, the cue was not that long and the staff were very accommodating, the experience also is something different but beautiful it was all worth it and I highly recommend.
