Great museum. Eventhough it's far from the city center, it's a must visit. It helps you piece together the history of Taiwan, the indigenous people, European influence, Japanese rule, to present day. It's well curated, manageable, and not overwhelmingly large. We came on a Sunday afternoon with two kids (12 and 10 y/o).
One of the best museum to visit, discover Taiwan’s history and how very interactive for younger generations. Fully English translated too
On rainy days, you can take shelter from the wind and rain. It’s a great place for leisure and vacation. Children will have a lot of fun.
From the outside to the corner where I stood, I really felt that the venue was so big! Children can bring their balance bikes and bicycles in to have fun! The exhibition is very rich in content and is very suitable for elementary school students to learn about history! What impressed Yan Yan the most was the train on the first floor, which was very realistic and interesting, and he couldn't take his eyes off it!
This museum is of great historical significance. You can learn about the history of Taiwan, from the early primitive times to modern history. It is similar to the content learned in previous textbooks, but it is presented completely. The quality and detail of the exhibits are also very good. It is recommended. All friends, big and small, come
The exhibition space is very comfortable. The outdoor space planning is great. It is suitable for the whole family. The main exhibition content is the history of Taiwan. The second floor of the permanent exhibition is very rich in content. It is different from ordinary signboard exhibitions and provides a lot of vivid statues and interactive sounds. Optical equipment allows you to immerse yourself in different periods of Taiwan’s past
The price is reasonable, Happy Station is very fun, and a lot of the history about Taiwan is also very interesting. For example, around 1704, an Englishman in Europe said that he was Taiwanese, and he lied and published a book after his death. Anyway, you must come and take a walk.
The admission tickets are affordable, and the exhibitions are diverse, featuring many multimedia interactive installations and mannequin displays. The outdoor park is incredibly spacious, and many people bring their families to ride bikes, have picnics, and more.
