I was with Guide ERWIN, and he meticulously explained the tour itinerary and how it would proceed. I'm truly grateful for his constant kindness and cheerful demeanor. He even took some fantastic photos for us along the way! (His photography skills are amazing.) He picked us up at our accommodation, and we discussed the itinerary. I chose the following: <Loboc River Tour (2 people, 2,400 PHP entrance fee separate) - Man-Made Forest Trail - Tarsier Sanctuary - Chocolate Hills - Firefly Experience>. Every part of it was an incredibly satisfying experience. The firefly experience, in particular, was unforgettable. I want to thank our guide for staying with us all day, even late into the evening. The car was also comfortably cool, which helped us forget about the heat outside. I highly recommend this tour!
Amazing experience. Affordable price! Highly recommended. We witnessed the magical firefly watching. Our first time at the chocolate hills so very wonderful memories…
our guide Carlito is very nice and helpful with our tour. He took good photos and assisted us with our Loboc cruise efficiently. We didnt manage to see the inside of Baclayon church because it was close but still the whole tour was worth it especially the amazing firefly viewing.
My guide Alboy picked me up at Tagbilaran Port, so I was able to start the tour 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time~! He explained everything well at each attraction and took pictures for me, so I was so grateful🙏 The firefly viewing was the first time, and although the wait was long, I wasn't bored because I was looking at the stars in the dark night sky~ Thanks to him, I even saw a shooting star 💫 After the tour, I fell asleep all the way back to my accommodation because I was tired, but when I arrived, I arrived 20 minutes later than the scheduled tour time! I was so grateful to my guide Alboy who worked hard all day, and thanks to him, the start of my Bohol trip was so enjoyable❤️
Our guide, Jun, was veryyyyy friendly! We didn't have an awkward moment. He was proactive witj suggestions of other places we might want to visit and our schedule was on point. We loved the experience overall!
the itinarary is quite flexible, fireflies are really cool!
Great tour! Showed us the highlights of Bohol- particularly loved seeing the Tarsiers! Sooo small and cute, but we had to stay quiet and not disturb them! The views of the 'chocolate' mountains was cool too, although it was green at the time. Also LOVED the fireflies! Absolutely stunning, best experience ever! Dondon was our driver, and he was amazing, gave us a brief explanation of each place we went and loved hearing the stories of his kids! Super friendly and helpful!
A 7-seater SUV and a dedicated driver were reserved for 4 people. It was nice to be able to move privately and all entrance fees were included. Lunch and dinner are not included so you have to take care of them yourself. We applied for the Loboc River lunch cruise separately for 4,000 pesos and were satisfied with the result. The fireflies were a new experience.
I'll write honestly. I was very worried because there weren't many comments. I could have ruined my trip if I made a reservation only looking at the price. If I just look at the results, it was a very good reservation. Two people made the reservation and it was a private trip. Our group rode in a cool car and we were able to go where we wanted to go, and it was a free atmosphere. The driver, Paul, was very kind and drove very well, so we were able to get there on time. The route is as follows: After pickup, see the cathedral -> Butterfly and Snake Museum (the atmosphere is a bit shabby, but the guide was very kind and Korean patched) -> take a cruise (optional and individual payment, lunch included) (the experience wasn't bad, but don't expect too much) -> see the tarsier (the place to see is very small and there are too many people) -> Man-Aid Forest (the picture in the middle of the road is so pretty) -> Chocolate Hills (so so so so pretty) -> see the fireflies (they live on 3-4 trees, so it's really a spectacular view when you go when the sky is clear) -> return. The travel time is quite long, and since it was the first time for the fireflies, I took the cruise for about an hour, so I didn't stay at the Chocolate Hills for a short time, which was a shame. But since it was the first time for the fireflies, there weren't many people, which was nice. The departure time is 6:30 PM and the departure time is 6:50 PM. It's cheaper than just a country tour, so I thought I'd have to pay extra, but there wasn't. The only additional costs were the cruise, zipline at Chocolate Hill, and ATV. I thought it was a joint package with another group, but it was separate, which was nice. The air conditioning worked well, and the car was clean and friendly. I think I'll do it again next time. Lastly, there weren't many places to eat snacks while walking, so I bought water and chocolate and rode, and it was nice to sit and eat at Chocolate Hill. Hope this helps.
the tour guide (Jun) was super timely at our pickup. in addition, he was communicative on WhatsApp with me. we had a very smooth drive around the countryside and he explained things like an expert. I felt super safe! he knew a lot of history and interesting facts an was INCREDIBLE at take our photos (like a real instagram boyfriend!) we saw everything we wanted to and got to our hotel safely.
