Loboc River Stand Up Paddle Adventure in Bohol / Firefly Tour bohol

Even though we saw dolphins and turtles on other tours, my kids said this was the most fun tour of the trip. Other firefly tours involve going on a boat or kayak to see the fireflies, but the 2-hour paddle-riding tour where you can feel the beautiful nature was so much fun and happy. I was too scared to take my child with me, but the guide took my child on the paddle and kept him safe and entertained for 2 hours as if he were her own son. I think I got bitten once or twice by mosquitoes, but I didn't care because I was so happy. I went early after reading reviews and had dinner at a restaurant. It was really delicious and a great place. I made unforgettable memories with my kids. I definitely want to go again!

It was a bit far from the accommodation, but it was a fun time that I don't regret. It felt like I was experiencing the jungle, and it wasn't cold even when it rained, and they said it had a lot of charm and romance. They kindly guided me and gave the best explanations. I used up a lot of energy on the way there, but when I came back in the middle, the guide pulled me back and I was revived. I should have thanked him, but I was too tired to say hello or give him a tip. I could give him a tip or incentive, but it would be nice if there was a Klook system. The fireflies were amazing, and the atmosphere itself was so different from Korea that I had a unique experience. It's the best.

The guide Carl was nice and helpful. Detailed explanation and services. View alongside was superb. The beauty of the fireflies is priceless!!! SUP is the best way to go as that will not disturb the firefly whilst getting closer to the trees.

This was the most memorable tour of my Bohol trip. I took a land tour and asked the driver to take me to Fox and Firefly Cottages and wait until 8 o'clock. The day I went, there was a big group of 17 people. Among them, only my husband and I were Korean, and all the other participants were Westerners. The funny thing was that mosquito repellents from all over the world were available. We sprayed them and didn't get bitten even once. It felt like paradise as we leisurely paddled down the Loboc River at sunset. The only sounds were the sounds of birds and the waves paddling. It was a leisurely and relaxing time where everyone had their own time. Even when it got dark, the guide took care of us closely, and there were life jackets, safety equipment, and lanterns, so it was safe. And the visibility was good enough to paddle. After the sun went down, I lay down on the paddleboard under the trees filled with fireflies and watched the fireflies for a long time. It felt like a dream. The fireflies that moved and twinkled ceaselessly in the star-filled sky shone like Christmas tree lights. This was my first time seeing so many fireflies. It was so touching. I couldn't capture them with my camera, so I let go, but the guide asked for my phone and took some photos and videos for me. After a while, I continued to row and continued to see fireflies on the way to the final destination. The fireflies flying over the river and passing by my eyes were like a scene from a movie. It was a day when the crescent moon rose and the stars were clearly visible. It was fantastic to fully appreciate the moon, stars, and fireflies and feel myself melting into nature. There are firefly watching programs in other countries, but this tour, where you can lie on a paddleboard in the Loboc River and stare blankly at the fireflies above your head, is the only one of its kind. I will never forget this day in Bohol. One-line summary: Koreans, especially healthy adults, must experience this experience. Highly recommended!!!☆☆☆☆☆

The guy is very cute and enthusiastic. Teach us how to stand up paddle. and take us along the way. The first time I did stand-up paddling was at night. It was a very peaceful and special experience of feeling nature.

You can watch fireflies while playing SUP! From the setting sun to the starry sky, I slowly moved forward calmly and felt like time has slowed down. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful sunset SUP experience at Fox & The Firefly Cottages in Bohol! The river sunset scenery is magical beyond words. Huge thanks to coaches Jasper and Promin — they are super patient, calm and professional. They gave detailed guidance for newbies, patiently corrected our moves, prioritized our safety all the way, and helped us enjoy the sunset comfortably on the paddleboard. 10/10 experience, strongly recommended!

I have done lots of adventurous things in my 7-day stay in bohol, but this is the highlight of it all! the best, most peaceful, and coolest two hours I spent in bohol!! Vander (our tour guide) was so friendly and accommodating!

if you love to make paddle, then this activity will definitely satisfy your paddling to the max. The Loboc River is calm and peaceful, very relaxing to paddle. Then there is the fire flies, so much to see and could even take videos of them. Very worth the money spent.
