Lord Of The Rings with Lunch Full Day tour

Overall an outstanding tour with a lot of good information and great to see all those filming locations for LOTR. Our guide was Robin who was an extra throughout the three movies and it was fun hearing his perspectives and talking with someone who was really in the thick of the movie making experience. The van was comfortable and the props were a nice touch to make photos a bit more memorable. Highly recommend this tour and this company.

The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The journey was amazing but I think the price is a bit on the high side. The lunch was not that good. the tour company should at least prepare some props for us to reenact some of the scenes.

The tour was impressive, and the guide was nice to share about the movie including the details. By his introduction and sharing, we knew the movies more and had deeper feelings when arriving every locations.

We are very excited to be part of The Lord of the Rings. The weather is very good. The driver picked us up on time, and we have 18 people going with us. It's so fun, especially with The Lord of the Rings and Wētā Workshop. There is a lot of technology for shooting The Lord of the Rings. We just had a good experience, and we will come back again.

This was an amazing experience, a small tour of eight people and a great guide and driver. The visit of all the locations for the shootings of the Lord of the Rings movies was fantastic, close and personal. The Weta workshop is a wonderful place, full of mysteries and amazing things to see (an touch!), with a nice staff. The lunch experience, a buffet at the Aston Norwood café in a pretty venue was the cherry on the top of the cake. I completely recommend this tour with WTG!

This is a must-do tour for anyone who loves The Lord of the Rings... I had given up on going to the filming location of Rivendell because I didn't have a car, but I was able to tour not only the Kaitock Regional Park but also various filming locations with a detailed guide... It was a really fun and informative time... 🥹🥹

This was a fantastic experience! We really enjoyed listening to Nathalie. She was really fun to be with. The info she shared was really interesting. She took great pictures pf our family. The lunch was also very good. The WETA workshop was amazing!!

Marc- our guide was simply AMAZING! He was sooooo knowledgeable! He was in the film and had so many stories to tell. We came while doing a cruise. They picked us right up at the cruise terminal- and fed us a delicious lunch! Showed us so many amazing filming sites! And beautiful scenery! Took us to WETA which was cool! Such a great option for a tour! Worth every penny!

The LOTR 8 hr tour with Ross was one of the best tours we’ve ever done! Ross was very knowledgeable not only about the movies, but about New Zealand, Wellington, and all the facts in between about the native plants and animals. It felt like a bonus getting to learn about more than just the movies, and how New Zealand itself was such an integral part of the LOTR series. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!
