A great activity for those who would like to know more about Cambodian Culture. Bring umbrellas and water during the summer. Walking could be really warm and tiring.

I had high hopes for this place. They open at 8:30am, but the only thing open then is the museum. The first show started at 11am and, although it was good, only lasted 20 minutes. The next show wasn't until 2:30. And really nothing to do except walk around and take a few pics in between shows. I had lunch and bailed. There was mud on the main walkway, one employee warned us of it, but no one was attempting to do anything about it... although there were lots of employees just sitting around. I looked into an empty temple in one area to see an employee sleeping in the corner. A couple of the employees were downright rude to me, for whatever reason. It's a pretty place to go and take some pictures, but don't expect to be entertained unless you see more shows. It's a ghost town... over the 4 hours I was there, I saw maybe 10 customers. There were good-sized amphitheaters, all empty and no shows scheduled for them. Even at noon, many of the buildings were locked. I really wanted to see the musical instrument museum, but it was locked as well. If you have a free afternoon, hit the silk farm instead (catch a ride from artisan d'Angkor). If you really feel the need to see this place, go in the afternoon when there's more stuff going on.

The service that the agency was good, but we got bored in the area.

It was a surreal experience. There is a giant chicken, a tour of hell, and a wedding reenactment with audience participation. It was fun, but a little weird.
