The travel pass facilitates a circular journey, offering routes both clockwise and anti-clockwise between Edinburgh, Glasgow, Mallaig, Armadale (Skye), Kyle of Lochalsh, Inverness, and back. Begin at any point on the route and explore various stations, including Glasgow, Arrochar & Tarbet, Fort William, Mallaig, Isle of Skye, Inverness, Aviemore, Pitlochry, Perth, Stirling, and Edinburgh

Pass eligibility
- Free for children aged 0-4 as long as they will not occupy separate seats
- Children aged 16+ will be charged the same rate as adults
- This pass is available for purchase by both UK and non-UK residents
Additional information
- This vehicle is stroller and wheelchair-accessible
- Travel is valid any time on Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh and Glasgow – Mallaig services
- Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing Glasgow – Edinburgh or Edinburgh – Inverness, via Perth after 0915 and on any service on the weekend
- Please note that certain routes may be affected during winter operations:
- During the winter season, bus and ferry services operate on reduced schedules, with the potential for late changes or cancellations
- Bus services directly connecting Kyle of Lochalsh Train Station with Armadale Ferry Terminal on Skye are temporarily halted. Alternative connections are limited and may involve longer travel times and possible layovers
Luggage
- You may take up to three items of personal luggage free of charge; this includes two large items (Such as suitcases or rucksacks) and one item of smaller hand luggage (Such as a briefcase). Excess luggage and bulky items may be carried, subject to available space and charges

the online voucher was easy to activate and to use, and while our trip was impacted by storm amy - some scotrail trains were cancelled, klook provided support on refund requests
I would not book a rail pass for Scotland again. It's too complicated to figure out the right schedule as there are many exclusions and bus/ ferry and train schedules are not always aligned. We also had to buy additional bus tickets for parts of the journey. It would have been a lot easier and more flexible to buy individual train and bus tickets ahead or simply right on the spot. I don't think the hassle of handling the pass is worth the little savings, if any.
