Jeju Bagus Surfing School

The family that run this surf school are very sweet and accommodating. They are friendly and can speak English . They make sure you’re safe and go through the safety procedures. What I liked about Bagus is you get a lot of time on the water and surf. I felt like I had more time surfing compared to other surfing experiences. I had a great time , felt very welcomed and would highly recommend .

I had a fantastic paddleboarding lesson with two wonderful instructors. They were very patient and made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to have a fun and informative time on the water. Thank you for the great experience! (and they also took great pictures of me ) ☺️

I wanted to have a unique experience in Jeju that I don't usually get to do at home, so I booked my first surfing lesson. The two owners are really kind, encouraging, and accommodating. You can have a lesson in Korean or English. I mistakenly booked for a Korean lesson, so the English instructor wasn't there at the start, but she very kindly adjusted her schedule to come early and help me, which I really appreciated. After the lecture, you get some practice on the board on dry land, and then the instructor takes everyone to the water for assisted practice. After, we were able to continue practicing/playing solo for as long as we wanted. If you don't bring your own swimsuit, that's okay. They can provide a wet suit. There are facilities available to have a shower as well. I loved this experience. I would recommend it, and I would do it again.

5 stars! This was so fun and the staff were so nice. They taught me enough to get in and surf really fast (from working in the door to surfing my first wave was probably 20-30 minutes). The instruction and practice was clear enough that, having never surfed before, I rode probably 10+ waves in the hour. I have always wanted to surf an I can't think of a more accessible way to do it. They were great instructors and so kind.

Incredible experience. The teacher was very knowledgeable and helpful. I messaged them on kakao to ask for an english option and the woman who translated for us was very clear in her instructions. I would recommend them to anyone interested in surfing!
