Reviews
During my trip to Fukuoka, I participated in two KLOOK day tours. The first one was to "Yufuin and Nyoirinji Temple." The tour guide for this group, Ms. Li Jing, was very responsible. The day before the tour, she sent an email with information about the guide and the meeting point. However, for the "Itoshima" tour, I received absolutely no information about the guide or meeting arrangements the day before. I was very worried and sent several emails to customer service and the supplier, but received no response. Given my experience with the first tour, I decided to arrive early at the first day's meeting point to inquire. That morning, I first asked a guide wearing a KLOOK vest, but it wasn't my group. That guide told me that if I hadn't received the guide's information, I would have to ask each group individually at the site. Yes, that's right! I literally had to ask group by group. It was ridiculous! Eventually, I did find my group, and the rest of the itinerary was smooth and wonderful. However, the only drawback was the communication issue with the guide. If you encounter the same problem as me, you'll have to inquire on-site. If you don't go, it's considered a forfeiture! >_<
On this tour, most of the participants were from Taiwan and China, and I was the only Japanese person. The driver guided in Chinese but also spoke Japanese, so he explained many things to me on the bus. He made sure to talk to me and check in on me at every stop, which made the trip enjoyable. To visit so many tourist spots, you'd typically need to rent a car or use buses and trains, but financially and time-wise, it's definitely better to use this tour. I'm so glad I had such a wonderful day.
2025/12/28 This was my first trip to Fukuoka with my family. We bought a package tour and saw snow in Japan for the first time. We even had a small snowball fight. The tour guide said that the group the day before couldn't make it up because of the snow on the ground. We were lucky today. Although there wasn't much snow on the ground, it was still a great experience. The scenery in Itoshima was really beautiful, and the palm trees were lovely. We had a lot of fun on the swings, and it was a great place to take pictures. The Ichiran factory is also a great place for a walk. At lunchtime, the tour guide arranged for us to eat Ichiran ramen. I heard it was the main store, so we didn't have to wait in line, which was also a great treat. Finally, at Miyajidake Shrine, we enjoyed delicious food and watched the sunset, a perfect combination. So happy!
Thankful I’ve decided to book this tour. This is perfect for autumn. Leaves and Trees are stunning! Sakurai Shrine is like you’re in a postcard! Very beautiful! Too bad it is not allowed to swim at the beach. :(
logistics were straight forward and Mr Wang our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. we were assisted well where we needed guidance.the places visited were just gorgeous. pics attached speak for themselves.
We had a very good experience with this tour. Small group only of 10pax whick is very much okay . Though we are not chinese/japanese speaking, the driver/guide still manage to communicate with us using google translate. this is a must-have if you plan to go to Fukuoka
We joined this tour on 21 Nov 24. Tour departed at 830am and we reached back Hakata around 4pm. I found that this tour is on a pricey side as compared to the other 2 days trip I went to Miyazaki and Mount Aso. We departed earlier and returned later. The driver is also the tour guide, he is good and shared with us on some history of Kyushu. He communicated to the group in both Mandarin and Japanese. We did not manage to take the boat ride as the wave was strong but the company paid for our Ramen at Ichiran. The 6 places we went were good, especially the waterfall and the beach, they are beautiful. Itoshima requires driving or taking public buses but not frequent schedule. Hence, by joining the tour works well for us. Thanks driver for the safe ride. We enjoyed our day.
I booked this tour did not realise that it was Chinese speaking guide. Did not matter my Hong Kong new friends helped me have one of the best days I have spent in Japan. Highlights so many Waterfall incredible Raman factory lunch unbelievable had to pinch myself white Tories gates in the sea life changing and myself on a swing at the beach finished off an incredible three weeks in Japan. Klook made it very easy thankyou
It is a wonderful trip with lots of place to visit, as it happened to be a Sunday and Monday is Japan public holiday so it is quite crowded. we waited around 40mins for Yilan ramen. Driver 张董 make the journey interesting and provided information on the venue.
A very relaxing day, it is recommended to put it on the last day of the Fukuoka trip or the second to last day (the first to last day can be a city walk in Fukuoka city). Today's itinerary is not as spectacular as other itineraries, such as visiting the crater, but you can go to six or seven places and see some very relaxing attractions, especially the beach. So it is recommended that you wear light-colored or contrasting clothes for better photos. If you are well prepared, you can bring a swimsuit and swimming trunks, and you can play a little when you go to the beach. I also want to say that our tour guide Xiaote is very dedicated, and he explains every place very carefully and comprehensively.
