Lima Ballestas Islands & Huacachina Full-Day Tour with Dune Buggy

I thought this was an English speaking tour. Me and two others were not understanding what was being said and had one employee who paraphrased instructions to us after the tour guide spoke. Why advertise a tour in English if it is strictly Spanish speaking? At least make a big note stating it is a Spanish only, speaking tour guide.

The overall tour was good but I felt it was a bit rushed. Most of your time goes in the bus journey itself. Both places Paracas and Huacachina are really nice and quite different. I would recommend staying in Huacachina overnight instead of doing a day tour. Watching Penguins in Paracas and doing buggy ride and sandboarding in Huacachina was the highlight of trip. The lunch place didn’t have good washrooms which wasn’t expected.

The guide was very diligent about the schedule. The lunch was delicious, and all the activities in Paracas and Huacachina were very fun. It was a very informative tour from 5am to 10:30pm.

I never thought that I would be taken to a soft sell even though I joined a tour that was not cheap! After the Bird Island trip, we arranged a tasting at a small shop, which was a 10-15 minute soft sell. However, after the sandboarding and jeep activities, the meal time was too short. The tour guide also arranged a wine tasting at the restaurant, which wasted a lot of time. If there were no such activities, we could have returned to the center of Lima earlier.

The bus picked us up on time and there was an English translation. The bus was a big tour bus and very comfortable. We saw sea lions and penguins at Bird Island. The desert oasis was really beautiful. The off-road vehicle ride was exciting. The sandboarding was perfect if you could do it multiple times.

Best value for the money. You can see desertified islands and the marine animals that live among them from the boat (sea lions, cute penguins, and seabirds). The desert tour offered plenty of thrills with an exotic oasis and off-road vehicles. The driver gives a solid, exciting ride.

Itinerary arrangement: Very reasonable. In the morning, first go by boat to see penguins and sea lions, and in the afternoon, go wine tasting and drinking. After drinking, head to the desert before sunset. Overall, it's not too hot and not too cold. Remember to wear sunglasses, and you'll need goggles in the desert.

I was very satisfied. We saw very beautiful places Paracas with the a lot spices of animal, wonderful. We visited dune in Huacachina also perfect places. Company and our guide was very professional, i can recommend very much. Sanboarding was excellent, our driver on the sand dunes was profesionall also. If i visite Peru in the future probably i can check it again.
