We visited nearby restaurants and tried four different dishes. It was great that our guide showed us how the locals eat, which was very helpful. If we were to rank them, it would be beef noodles > banh xeo > BBQ > coconut dessert. It was definitely hot, probably because they were local eateries. We even went to the night market since we had some time before the Dragon Bridge fire show! We were picked up at 6 PM and arrived back at our accommodation at 9:15 PM! It was a lot of fun~ :) Thank you, Lucy and Tin, for being such kind guides~
I went on a tour with a friend, and it was great because they took us to a local restaurant we never would have found on our own. It was a unique experience. It was also my first time riding a scooter, and I was a bit scared, but they kept asking if I was okay and drove very safely. We saw the night market and even fireworks, so it was a very fulfilling and fun trip. Our guides, Nana and Rose, were incredibly kind, spoke excellent English, explained the food well, and engaged in natural small talk, which made the whole experience comfortable. If you're looking for a unique tour in Da Nang, I highly, highly recommend this one!
I was with guide Huyen Mun. She arrived earlier than the scheduled time, so we were able to depart immediately without any waiting. The itinerary was a comprehensive course that allowed us to enjoy Da Nang to the fullest, including famous Vietnamese restaurants, temples, desserts, and even the night market. She checked if I had any food allergies and asked in advance about my preferences for certain dishes. She drove the scooter comfortably without honking even once, and kindly explained the significance of each major tourist attraction, making it easy to understand. She also helped a lot at the night market, making payments convenient. Although it was a short trip and I booked last minute, I was able to communicate easily via KakaoTalk. I highly recommend it! (The photos are bad because I'm not good at taking them.)
it was a great experience and the perfect thing to do on my last night in Danang. The guide was knowledgeable and really friendly . It was really interesting to try different foods , and see the night market. I went on a Friday , so I saw the dragon show. This happens Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Just had the most amazing food tour in Da Nang with my guide Alana Phan! 🥰 She was super friendly, spoke excellent English, and made the whole experience feel so fun and relaxed. Since I don’t eat meat, she went the extra mile to organize fresh seafood for me — and even BBQ’d it herself! 🔥🦐 We rode a bike together through the city, explored a local market, and visited the famous Dragon Bridge. She also helped me take some really great photos along the way! 📸 I felt like I was exploring with a friend rather than just a guide. Highly recommend this experience if you want a fun, local, and thoughtful food adventure in Da Nang! 💕
Private tours offer very convenient pick-up and drop-off, and our guide, Qiuxuan (Moon), added a lot to the entire trip. Due to wind and rain that day, we switched to traveling by car, but it didn't affect the overall itinerary. Over one evening, we tried beef vermicelli, egg pancake rice paper, charcoal grilled meat, and coconut pudding. These were all small shops that only locals go to, so there weren't crowds of tourists. We also visited a Guanyin Temple in the middle, and ended the night with the Shantea Night Market. Thanks to Qiuxuan's ability to speak Chinese, my family was able to participate without communication barriers. It's a great itinerary to quickly gain a basic understanding of the city. Highly recommend it to everyone.
Thanks to Ricky's guidance, we had a delightful evening. Thank you, Ricky! We got to try various kinds of Vietnamese local food, and thanks to his well-planned route, we could move around at a relaxed pace. There were hardly any tourists in the restaurants; mostly locals. The desserts and BBQ stood out among the food, and the Dragon Bridge show, which takes place at 9 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, was great. However, be careful during commutes as traffic jams are expected. I highly recommend the Vietnam Ao Dai Night Food Tour!
I highly recommend this tour to solo travelers! It was a very fulfilling 4 hours, and the food wasn't touristy at all – we went to a local restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Especially, Ruby, the guide who accompanied us, taught us about the overall culture and daily life of Vietnam. It was so fun and vivid information that I couldn't find on the internet. She was a very nice and bright girl lol. You should definitely try it! I highly recommend our guide, Ruby!!
Mun and Sally, thank you for the fun night tour! We had a very meaningful time visiting wonderful local temples, local food shops, and places that only locals would know and be able to go to, along with delicious food and fun conversation. Mun speaks Japanese, which was very helpful for me as I'm not good at English. Also, the safe driving throughout was a great impression. I highly recommend this tour!
If you want to make your nights in Da Nang extra special, I highly recommend the Ao Dai Rider Night View & Food Tour! Especially thanks to our guide, Trang, we had an unforgettable and amazing experience. Impressed by the perfect service and kindness! Trang arrived earlier than the scheduled time and waited for us, and before the tour started, she gave us a simple but essential briefing, informing us of the itinerary in advance so that we could start with peace of mind. Local Restaurants & Kind Explanations As the full-fledged food tour began, Trang guided us to hidden local restaurants with a strong local atmosphere. She gave detailed explanations of all the food, as well as kindly told us the best way to eat it, so we could truly enjoy the local cuisine. Thanks to her, we were able to eat foods that we would normally have found difficult to try without any hesitation. Thoughtful consideration and guiding role Throughout the tour, she was passionate about taking photos at wonderful places, and she even helped us bargain in local language when buying things at the night market, which made the trip much more enjoyable and comfortable. She wasn't just driving us around, but she was truly acting as a guide! 🗣️ Fun Communication and Conclusion During the ride, we were able to take some time to learn a few simple Vietnamese phrases, which made it even more informative and fun. As we had a great time, the tour came to an end before we knew it, and we were so grateful that she safely took us back to the hotel until the end. Thanks to Trang's kindness and thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy Da Nang's nights in the most local, safest, and most enjoyable way. Thank you once again to guide Trang for creating precious memories in Da Nang!
