We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! Even though it was one of the hottest days of our Japan trip, it was absolutely worth it. Our tour guide, Rex, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. He took the time to explain everything and made sure we were always updated through our WhatsApp group chat. When my phone was dying, I asked if there was somewhere I could charge it, and Rex kindly let me borrow his portable charger. He even surprised us with chocolates and postcards as gifts! 🥹 We had plenty of time at each stop to explore without feeling rushed, and Rex even took photos of my husband and me. Our driver was also very safe and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. The itinerary was great, well organized, and worth every penny. Thank you, Rex, for making our day so memorable. A must-choose for families with kids! This Nara day tour was truly the best decision we made on our Osaka trip, and I highly recommend it! First, let's talk about our guide, Tina. She was incredibly kind and attentive. The night before the tour, she proactively contacted us to confirm the meeting time and location, and even reminded us of small details to keep in mind when traveling with children. This made us feel very reassured even before the trip began. On the day of the tour, Tina was patient throughout. She actively offered to take family photos for us, so we didn't even have to ask. And her photos were truly professional quality, not at all like those taken by a random passerby. Looking back at them, every picture is full of wonderful memories. Along the way, Tina enthusiastically recommended a fantastic kimono rental shop. They had a wide selection of new and stylish kimonos, and even suitable sizes for children, who looked absolutely adorable in them! At lunchtime, she suggested several authentic local restaurants, saving us the trouble of searching online. Every place she recommended was excellent, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably with the kids, which eliminated a lot of hassle. For families with children, the biggest plus of this tour was its incredible convenience! Our stroller could stay on the tour bus the entire time, so we didn't have to push it on and off trains or buses, saving us a huge amount of energy and time. We had initially worried about the difficulties of taking public transport with young children, but instead, we traveled comfortably by car directly to each attraction. The adults were relaxed, and the children didn't get overtired and fussy. The itinerary planning also deserves special praise. We were so glad we didn't choose to ride the Arashiyama Scenic Railway, as that would have made the schedule very rushed. The guide's arrangements allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch, then stroll and explore Arashiyama at our own pace, taking photos and browsing shops without feeling rushed. We truly experienced the relaxed atmosphere of Arashiyama. The pace for Fushimi Inari and Nara was also perfectly managed. The children were incredibly excited to see the deer in Nara Park, and everyone, young and old, had a comfortable and joyful time. In summary, this day tour allowed us to visit Fushimi Inari, Nara, and Arashiyama in the most relaxed way possible. All the travel time was saved, and we had an attentive guide looking after us throughout. I genuinely highly recommend it to families traveling with children or elderly relatives! The itinerary was great, we were able to go to the deer park before the peak of visitors arrive. The flow was great also. We were in Arashiyama at lunch time which allows us to try the local cafés and restaurants there. Tori gates at sunset was a delight! But the highlight for me is how attentive our guide Valerie is to each and everyone of us, imagine a full tour bus and she would constantly check on us one by one to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. More than that, she would even connect with you personally to check your preference and would go the extra mile to help you if you have specific requests.

He explained everything clearly about the places we visited and shared interesting history about Nara and Kyoto. His knowledge and friendly attitude made the tour even more enjoyable. Eiichi also gave us enough time to explore the places we were most interested in and ensured that everyone knew where to meet the bus afterward. I highly recommend downloading WhatsApp before joining the tour, as the group uses it to share updates and locations, which is very helpful if you get lost or separated from the group. Fushimi Inari Taisha was equally impressive, with thousands of red torii gates stretching along the mountain paths. What stood out most was her warmth. Always smiling, patient, and genuinely caring. She explained the culture, little stories, and even helped us capture some of our best moments without it ever feeling forced. Nara Park with the deer, Fushimi Inari’s endless torii gates… everything felt more meaningful because of how she guided us through it. If you’re doing this trip, ask for Saki. This tour was worth it! Our guide is Willa and with her coworker Samuel. Willa updated our group chat with helpful links as well as constant updates while on the tour. She also taught us helpful info on how to interact with the deers. Samuel was translating for the other guests and recommended places for us to eat in Japan. Seeing and interacting with the deer at Nara Park was absolute fun! Our guide, Theodore, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire day. Visiting these iconic sites on a hot day could have been exhausting, but the tour bus was clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning to keep us cool between stops. Theodore made sure everyone stayed refreshed by handing out cooling wipes, and having cheap cold water available for purchase right on the bus was a thoughtful touch. It was a very enjoyable experience overall, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto!

An unforgettable Kyoto–Nara experience that perfectly mixed first-time moments with returning favorites! 🦌✨ It was my first time encountering the Nara deer, and they were incredibly cute, friendly, and fun to feed—definitely a unique experience you shouldn’t miss. It was also so nice to be back at Fushimi Inari Shrine—the endless torii gates still feel magical and iconic no matter how many times you visit. ⛩️ Walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest was just as peaceful and surreal, offering a calm escape surrounded by nature. I also got to experience Togetsukyo Bridge for the first time, and the views were absolutely beautiful with such a relaxing atmosphere. 🌉🍃 Overall, truly a memorable and worthwhile trip!
