Galle and Surrounding Areas Full Day Tour

The driver Gamini is nice and responsible. He drove safely which we really appreciated. He was punctual and be ready for us at 7am. Parewi Duwa Temple is stunning even though it’s still under renovation. We went to Polhena beach and Mirrisa beach. The itinerary said snorkelling tour and masks are included but we actually had to pay ourselves. (Snorkelling is an extra cost) I swam with sea turtles and managed to touch them. There are corals as well. Beaches are beautiful but just we are not sunshine people so we didn’t stay long there. It was hot in the afternoon so we just saw a few stilt fisherman. We had experience sitting on the stick and tried fishing (at our own expenses). The final stop is sea turtle hatchery. The knowledgeable guy explained different types of turtles to us. The short tour is very informative. We actually went back to our hotel at around 3pm. The trip doesn’t include Galle tour.

This trip is so bad in management from the tour operator. He did not contact me before the tour will start. On the day, I must contact him on the appointment time (0700). He said the tour will start at 08:00. I wondered why?? due to the schedule said about 07:00. On 08:00, no driver/guide was shown and mentioned that car was accident and need to arrange again. The drive/guide came 0830. He is stil young only 21 years old as college student with no more knowledge of tour details. He said the tour operator just informed him to service is tour on 08:10. For the driver/guide, I am OK. He is very nice and be taking care me as a friend. For the tour operator must be improving your management.

While very pleasant, driver was 30 minutes late. Ultimately, there is no tour guide and the items on the itinerary do not fill anywhere near 12 hours. by 10:20 am we had completed almost all items. I was then asked to pay extra for activities said to be included. The driver was kind enough to suggest a river cruise which I had to pay extra for, as we had finished all activities so early. Communication with the operator was abysmal and she was very rude on the phone. There was no tour guide at all and I cannot recommend this to anyone. Customer support from Klook has been abysmal despite providing proof of this to them.

This was such a rip off! Not worth the money paid. First it was NOT a guided tour by a professional. The driver doubled up as the guide and could hardly speak English. So we hardly knew what we are looking at. Second, we paid for a whole day tour but the whole thing ended after lunch. Will not recommend this tour.

Turtle farm visit, Galle Fort, southern most tip of srilanka... All these made possible using this tour. We were able to squeeze an hour out for surfing lessons.!!

1. It is scheduled to pick up at 7:00, and the driver is half an hour late. 2. The fee includes snorkeling equipment, but the driver said that there is no such trip. 3. The fee includes bottled water, and the driver is not prepared. Even the driver gets off the bus and buys it. 4. The trip can touch the turtle eggs and experience the feeding activities. Actually, I have not experienced such activities. 5. When the driver guide opens to an attraction, he asks me to get off and take a photo and then he waits in the car. 6. For the 12-hour trip, my actual trip took only 3 hours. The driver said that he had completed the activity today, and then ended. He went to pick up the child and go home after school. This trip made me very disappointed. It is not the same as the introduction. I have no communication with the local area. I can understand that the car may be delayed. But early in the morning, there is no traffic jam on the road. The driver is too lazy. I am involved in a single trip. Accepting the trip ends early, but it is far from the actual time and the tour guide asked me to get off the camera, he waited in the car, and was responsible for the tour guide. It was not the first time to participate in the klook trip, but it was so disappointing for the first time. The single trip was particularly expensive, but there was no value for a single trip.
