What to expect
Witness the majestic beauty of Pagsanjan Falls in person with this private day tour! Fall in love with Laguna’s most famous natural attraction, and find yourself wishing to stay there forever! Start your water adventure with a ride on a banca (local canoe) through a rocky stream of crystal clear water worth 17-kilometres. Pass through lush vegetation and magnificent rock formations, where you’ll see at least twenty minor falls sprouting from the mountains. Prepare yourself as your boat ride descends rapidly downstream - better known as ‘shooting the rapids’. Experience the thrill of a lifetime as expert boatmen skilfully maneuver the banca through turbulent waters and past gorges over a hundred feet high. Once you reach the main falls, feel free to jump in the cold water. Don’t forget to try the raft ride - an exhilarating trip that will bring you right under the waterfalls and into the Devil’s Cave! Get a relaxing back massage as you pass through the falls and feel refreshed once you’re done with the ride. End the tour with an unforgettable experience at one of the country's best waterfalls, Pagsanjan Falls.

Reviews
this is one for the bucket list. amazing boatmen that are not getting enough credits due to lower tourist count after the pandemic. Competing regions that raised the cost the with hardly raising the pay for the ones that do the work. Once you experience the breathtaking beauty of the landscape with the confident navigation of the boatmen. you will agree that they deserve more so tip well. it’s a long trek from Manila, about 2:45 hours and another 2 hours for the falls and another few hours back hence the whole day. I recommend this trip for sure.
we were the only 2 participants on that day so it felt like a private tour. driver arrived earlier to pick us up at meet up point so we set off to start the 2.5hrs car ride to the riverside. arrived at Aria where we were greeted by the friendly staff Ms. Angela and her team. lunch was pretty good! korean banchan, rice, meat and soup! The place is equipped with lockers, very clean toilet and changing rooms. leave your change of clothes here, bring water/gopro and your waterproof bag (dont lose your waterbottle else it becomes trash on the river)put on lifejacket and helmet, and we were off! hitched a ride upstream passing fishermen, ducks and beautiful waterfalls, and watched the very skillful boatmen manoeuvre our bangka (canoe) between the rocks and fighting against rapids! arrived at the falls, rode out to nature “car wash” on a bamboo raft, that was absolute fun!! swam for a bit in the cave behind the waterfall too! it was a good break out of the bustling manila city, recommended!
5 stars for the boatman’s effort. Do remember to tip the boatman because it was really hard work to navigate around. The full tour was around 2 hours plus. If you are looking for super beautiful scenery and you are not in the area then i think you can give this place a miss. The traffic back was horrendous though.
this was super fun activity! we enjoyed so much and the sights were just wow! if you enjoy nature thats the activity for you! our driver ariel, came 15 minutes earlier, updated us with sms msg and was standing, waiting for us with klook banner. was super easy to find. he put good music, explained things along the way and made sure the way will be for us as comfortable as possible. the activity was just amazing, raw nature, jungle mountains above us and strong current waters made this experience unforgettable. the boat men, worked super hard and jumped from stone to stone and in-out the boat while muscle the boat up the streams made this experience even better. going in and out the cave was mesmerizing a must do thing, highly recommended. i saw people here complain about the high tip they ask, well they actually deserve it! 500 pesos is not too high for what they do. the food was ok, we chose to eat after the trip.i highly recommend to book this trip. bonus fact: you might meet the falls cat! :)
We were a group of three and the only customers in this day tour. The journey overall was very enjoyable. The boatmen muscled their way upstream to reach the fall, it was dangerous and demanded a lot of elbow grease. The boatmen were very polite especially the one on the front and they never asked for tips, which was very different from what i saw from the previous comments. Of course I tipped them, 500 peso each. It is worth it.
A must go activity when you're in Manila! Have tried white water in my country before but this activity is going upstream of the falls, just to be greeted by magnificent water fall at Devil Cave. The boatmen is skillful in manoeuvring the canoe, just sit tight to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Definitely worth it.
best experience, we enjoyed the boat ride and also the falls. The waterfalls are refreshing and cold
The driver was very attentive and the whole journey was very comfortable. After arriving at the destination, the driver carefully introduced the environment, toilets, bathrooms, and where to have lunch after the meeting. Changes of clothes can be placed in the lockers at the departure point. You only need to bring them with you. Pick up important items and set off. The bathrooms and toilets here are quite clean, so remember to bring your own toilet paper and toiletries. After setting off, the boatman enthusiastically introduced the environment. Along the way, he saw two people riding horses across the river. The boatman said that they went up the mountain to collect coconuts and bamboos. The whole scene was so dreamy that they thought they were in the world of the Century Empire. The ecology becomes richer and richer as you go inward, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, and the waterfall is very spectacular. The boatman had to take us upstream all the way, which was very hard work. The boatman said that because this was very physically demanding, he could only accommodate one group a week. During the whole process, the boatman took the initiative to help us take photos, and did not take the initiative to ask us. Ask for tips.
The journey is long but the scenery is beautiful, making it perfect for those with time to spare. There are many activities, but before you go, be sure to confirm the departure time and pickup location with the driver. I had scheduled for around 9 AM, but the driver hadn't properly confirmed the order, so I was picked up an hour and a half late. However, the driver was very skilled, so we still managed to arrive without too much delay.
The boatman worked very hard and took great care to ensure our safety. It’s really a wonderful feast of nature
