Seoul Ganghwa Luge Half-Day Adventure with Transfers

I was really glad i availed of this transpo service. Driver Wu was great. He bought the tickets for us and even accompanied the group to the top so he can assist with the translation of the attendants’ instructions/directions and even offered to take pictures without being asked. While it may be more expensive than using public transport, the ride was comfortable and we saved a lot of time and energy and allowed us to be back in Myeongdong early.

Our driver Mario does not speak english but he was still very accommodating and tried his best to speak to us. He made sure we were comfortable on the car and before the Luge he tried his best to explain to us the ride so we were safe and we had fun. I would still recommend this to other english speaking tourist as our driver Mario was very kind and accomodating.

The Ganghwa Island Luge is really fun! I originally just wanted to plan a slightly different South Korea itinerary, and after experiencing it, I felt it was very worthwhile. Taking the cable car up, you can enjoy the scenery along the way, and then control the speed of the luge yourself on the way down. It's exciting but not too scary, making it suitable for both adults and children. Having transportation included for a half-day tour makes things much more convenient. You don't need to figure out transfers yourself or worry about traffic. You can depart in the morning and still arrange other activities in Seoul in the afternoon, so it doesn't waste an entire day. The overall itinerary was smooth, the scenery was beautiful, and it was great for taking photos. If you've explored most of downtown Seoul and want to plan a more unique outdoor activity, I highly recommend the Ganghwa Island Luge! 👍

It takes about 20 minutes to play. I have played four times and enjoyed it very much. There are more curves on the right, personally. After the experience, I feel that the trail on the left is more comfortable and faster to slide, and it will end 2 minutes faster than the one on the right👍 Thanks again to the tour guide for your help! My first time trying the Ganghwa Island Luge was much more fun than I expected! You can enjoy the scenery all the way up the mountain on the cable car, and the view from the top is beautiful and great for photos. You can control your own speed on the luge, whether you want to take it slow and enjoy the scenery or go for a more thrilling ride, it's a lot of fun. The whole experience isn't too tiring, making it perfect for families or friends. Besides shopping, I felt this outdoor activity was a worthwhile addition to my Seoul trip, creating unique memories. I'd love to do it again if I get the chance!

The driver was very nice. In addition to picking up and dropping off, he also provided us with tourist attractions. Tickets for the slide car were purchased for an additional 38,000 won (four times). It was very fun! Overall good travel experience👍👍

Very much enjoy...we're having so much fun while we're riding the luge cart...even if it's raining it doesn't stop us to ride the cart... and our tourist guide was so approachable...we're actually late but he still waited us just to have join the tour...Thanks for our tour guide...

best to board from Hongik university station as no need to drive one round from Myeondong station. travel takes abt 1 hour to Gwanghwa resort and driver is helpful to take photos and keep our bags in the car. we took 4 rides (buy 3 free 1) and enjoyed our rides. the slopes are steeper and longer than the Busan luge. best to wear gloves during winter as it’s really cold!!

The tour guide, Mr. Jin Xueji, understands Chinese, is kind, courteous and helpful, and arranges the itinerary very well. Sledding is exciting and fun, because there are two tracks that are recommended to be played more than twice. The scenery on the top of the mountain is beautiful, and you can also try a rotating Cafe.
