Known for fine chocolate, delicious fondue, and luxurious watches, Switzerland attracts a lot of visitors every year looking to experience authentic Swiss products. But the best of these Swiss products are its scenic views and natural wonders, which will be part of our recommendation for a “Switzerland in five days” itinerary!
    1. Hike to the top of Europe, Jungfraujoch
    2. Hop on an aerial cable to Mount Rigi
    3. Tour Grindelwald and Interlaken
    4. Go sightseeing on a boat in Geneva
    5. Explore Chamonix and Mont Blanc
Here are some ideas on how to spend your days in the beautiful country:

    1. Hike to the top of Europe, Jungfraujoch

You’re definitely going to need the whole day for this high-stakes adventure! Board the highest train station in Europe at 3,500 meters to Jungfraujoch, a.k.a the top of Europe. According to an old Swiss tale, Jungfrau is a mountain blessed by an angel, and it certainly seems that way with the awe-inspiring views you’ll be able to see. This is a must on Switzerland travel packages!

    2. Hop on an aerial cable to Mount Rigi

Feel like you’re flying through the clouds on this aerial cable adventure as part of your “Switzerland in five days” itinerary. Ride on Europe’s first mountain railway to Mount Rigi, and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the snow-covered Swiss Alps! If you’re into hiking, there are a few trails that you can embark to explore more of the mountain, or drop by a visit to the Rigi Kulm mountain chapel. You’ll also be able to hop aboard a boat trip on Lake Lucerne and dock at Lucerne for a stroll through the charming city.

    3. Tour Grindelwald and Interlaken from Lucerne

Don’t leave this attraction out of your “Switzerland in five days” itinerary. Explore two of the most popular mountain resorts in the country, Grindelwald and Interlaken! Begin with a refreshing drive through the city of Lucerne in the morning all the way to Interlaken, where there are shops galore! It’s the place to get handmade souvenirs and other regional merchandise. At Grindelwald, you can choose to take a cable car ride up to Mount First for an even better view of the land.

    4. Go sightseeing on a boat in Geneva

Surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, lush green parks, and a crystal clear lake, Geneva is the best place to unwind with a view, especially on a boat ride! When you’re ready to explore on foot, the historical city is also the symbol for luxury watchmaking all around the world, and there are many museums, workshops, and boutiques to help you learn all about the craft. The city is also known for extraordinary gastronomical experiences, so make sure to grab a bite before you continue your tour of Switzerland in five days!

    5. Explore Chamonix and Mont Blanc

Make sure to reserve a day of your “Switzerland in five days” itinerary for Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Take in the alpine scenery of Chamonix in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps—owned by both France and Italy, then take a trip to Mont Blanc to stand atop the highest peak in the Alps and European Union! There are other attractions to enjoy onsite, such as a walk inside the glass room at Aiguille du Midi “Step Into the Void,” and an educational adventure all about glaciers at the Glacorium.
With so many sights to see, we recommend planning your Switzerland travel package in advance, so you have time to explore, take photos, and learn all about the nation!
