Loved the balcony onto the pool and the spacious room. Great amenities in the room. Everything you could need. Easy and safe parking for the car.

Was really unimpressed upon check-in to find our room was poorly cleaned upon the last guest’s checkout. The floors were filthy, the windows were dirty and smudged, there were dead bugs in the windowsills and there was even water left in the kettle and the coffee machine from the last guest. We literally had to walk around our room in shoes for the entire eight days we were there, as we wouldn’t dare walk around in bare feet even after the floors were cleaned for us. After complaining to the first front desk manager, who did nothing about the state of our room, the second front office manager was quick to rectify the situation and have our room cleaned with an apology bottle of wine provided to us. Overall the facilities and standard of the property is pretty poor and old. It looks like the two bedroom units have new bathrooms, whereas all the other one bedroom and studio apartments have old unrenovated bathrooms. The studio/one bedroom units are incredibly small and pokey with very little storage. The pool was also really old and cold! All the pool tiles were really scummy and mouldy and look like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone and especially not through Expedia as they seem to put you in the dingiest and worst room when you do an Expedia booking.

Very well maintained hotel. Staff were great. Swim up bar was cool but very limited alcohol unless you only want cocktails. No JD, no CC no other bourbons. One other thing just be aware there is no microwave in the rooms which is a shame as it is a fair walk to the main shopping district. There is a some restaurants nearby at least. Overall still a nice place just limited in some respects

Had a wonderful time at Mantra Portsea. Will book again!

The swim up bar is a bonus, the pool area is lovely, it’s about a 20 min walk into Port Douglas shops and Marina but you can get a shuttle bus if prefer but it’s an easy walk. The staff were all fantastic

The buffet breakfast was disappointing 😞 We went for Easter Long weekend and the swim up bar was closed and was informed they do not pay staff public holiday to run the bar (seriously) our room was not what we paid for and staff argued when we asked for the room advertised for the price. Basic things like ice to the room they could not supply. I booked with an older person with disabilities and only for the convenience of already checked in and the stress of relocating her on a busy weekend is why we stayed. Never again and would never recommend.

Clean and excellent resort. Friendly staff would definitely stay there again.

Pool and bar was definitely the highlight. Great location, really close to four mile beach. Breakfast was just ok as quite limited variety

Great hotel, with location close to 4 mile beach, and port Douglas centre. Swim up bar is a must try.

Clean room with everything that was needed Really lovely staff. Hotel overall was nice Only disappointment was the swim up bar, the cocktails weren’t great and took forever to be made & there weren’t a lot of people around being off season We ended up going back upstairs for our own drinks and nibblies Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs with your luggage if your on the higher levels
