We traveled to the area with friends who had booked at a different hotel just down the street from Il Vecchio Fauno. We stayed here (there was no vacancy at the hotel where our friends were), and were pleased with the experience. Our room was spacious, had a lovely balcony to sit on and look out over a boulevard, and the bed was comfortable. It is located an easily walkable distance from the ruins, and there are lots of shops and cafes to choose from. The check-in was a bit different than what I'm used to (it's a self check-in system), and the owners were very patient with my questions and provided excellent directions as to how to access the property. We absolutely would stay here again.

This place is great for a quick visit to Pompeii! The location is unbeatable with the ruins right across the street. The air conditioning was great too. Only complaint was that the beds are very hard. Otherwise, great stay!

超讚 Daniele arranged for an excellent guide to tour the ruins, Lalla was super professional, on time, very knowledgeable and provided super answers to our questions. We loved Kiara's service. She is magnificent. Besides being a great host, she has a beautiful dog called Monet. I believe her dog is her inspiration for the great paintings she has all around the property. The property is so convenient because is just like 50 meters from one of the entrances to Pompeii.
