The hotel was clean and staff were lovely. Front of house and breakfast team were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good, great choices (not too many hot options, but that’s Italy:)) great coffee and fresh juices, salami was delish! Room was very spacious with a sea view, we had a family room with 4 beds which was great. Bathroom was clean. Large car park at the back, not sure if it’s paid for, as we didn’t use it. Only down side, there’s no path, pavement leading to the hotel, so it was a bit dangerous walking with kids on a busy road. Hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but there’s Picanello train station nearby which will take you directly to Taormina or Syracuse or you can go to the central station and even go to Palermo.

This is a basic affordable hotel located in a north suburb of Catania near the beach walk. The hotel has an inconvenient and dangerous access to the road and offers limited amenities. No outdoor space to gather. Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok. That being said it is clean and affordable and near a beautiful section of Mediterranean with some restaurants and cafes. I wish they would fix their entrance and make access safer and more convenient and add some nice tables to the front and it would be so much better! Hope they do this.

Hotel AC not sufficiently able to cool room. No tisue / napkins in bed room.
Shower so boxy and small to fit into it. Bed very old and caused back pain. Room never being mopped to remove floor dust. Surprise last mins charges of city tax!
