The hotel is close to the cruise Terran’s train station. There is a nice mall nearby with a food court. The room is very basic. Limited choose continental breakfast and coffee.

Very basic room with no tea/coffee-making facilities, drinks chiller in foyer not working. One of the towels was damp and looked as if it had been used. There was scaffolding right outside the window so I was unable to leave it open despite warm weather in case workmen looked in in the morning. However the main problem was that I accidentally put my booking through twice because I was on a train with patchy signal and did not receive the first booking confirmation. Ibis failed to respond to requests to consider a refund. The room would have been just about acceptable for the advertised price but I was very disappointed to have to pay double for it.

There was no AC No fans in the room. And the staffs were not providing any help! I will not recommends it to anyone!

It was not stated anywhere that for ‘full breakfast’ we needed to go to the adjacent hotel.

Good parking, just leave registration number on computer. Staff helpful. Very basic, but expected for price. Good location near a tgi friday and high street, port, parks and old town all in walking distance. Continental breakfast is extra and probably overpriced for what is available. Overall would recommend.

Worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Southampton - never again. One lift for all hotel guests and all the housekeeping teams. Impossible trying to get in the lift. No air conditioning. No fans. Just a wall mounted heater that apparently blew the air around - that was worse than useless. Hand gel bottle fell off the wall during the night. No hand towels just one bath towel each. One skimpy pillow each. No cooked breakfast available in the hotel.

Hotter than the sun with no AC, avoid in summer.

Probably the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. Rooms more akin to a dirty prison cell. Place stank of cigarettes and bleach. As it was a concert night went from £50 to £260 wouldn't recommend, stayed in some reasonable ibis hotels but this is awful. Don't normally leave reviews but travel lodge a much better budget safe bet. If advise you avoid it is awful! Sorry. Staff nice sheets clean. But ut just stank of dirty pubs.
