超讚 Breakfast is included. Parking is free. The location is closed to Highway, 10-15 mins driving to downtown. Staff is nice. Understand the hotel is under renovation. Overall experience is great.

不錯 room was clean. toilet didn't work very well. 1 of 3 elevators was not operational during our 3 day stay. carpet was being redone. hotel communicated the 2 latter items before we arrived. free parking, central to ottawa museums and activities, totally fine place to sleep.

Rooms were dated. Pull out couch was uncomfortable. Rust around the vents. Shower didn't drain the water properly. First set of hand towels smelled awful. Paid 2 different prices for the same rooms. Idk who's fault it was, Expedia or the hotel but def not mine because I paid for 2 different rooms. Gentleman at the front desk just smiled at me when I brought it to his attention like it was a joke.
Only plus is they fixed the drain after I told them about it. That's literally it.

Overall experience was average, felt the hotel was overcrowded with people. It was difficult to get either upstairs or downstairs using the elevator, likely due to the overall traffic.
It was also too bad that breakfast was not offered for all room considering the price being the same with ant Holiday Inn Express that do offer breakfasts for their guest. I doubt that our family will come back to this Holiday Inn particularly, even though the experience was ok.
