We absolutely loved at stay at Chateau Star, it was more then what we expected. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helped as much as they could given language barrier, really only had 1 staff member who spoke English which was great as we weren't proficient with the translation apps immediately. Rooms were clean and we were super comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes, along with sone corner stores a short walk away. We will definitely be staying there again.

More vegeterian/vegan options for breakfast would be great.

Quiet and beautiful!

Gorgeous hotel, thank you for a great stay

The outside pool was closed unfortunately! BUT lovely indoor pool was fabulous!!!! King Room was great and wonderful comfy bed Metro a good 20 min walk away Will stay again

The Chateau Hotel/Resort was way better in every respect than we ever could have expected. From its splendid "palatial" construction to its more than comprehensive resort facilities (tennis & badminton courts, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, wellness centre etc etc to its wonderfully helpful and friendly staff as well as its quality Chinese (Shanghai style) restaurant. Set in a quiet leafy area about 6 kms from the city centre it was refreshing to hear the birds singing from our balcony in the morning .. Geoff & Annie from Melbourne Australia

The location is right in the center of Pudong area and the hotel staff were absolutely amazing.

porter and receptionist is helpful and polite. keep it up.

Iliked the room and amenities

The rooms were dated but extra spacious.
