What a place to visit the dark skies of New Zealand. Every room has an incredible view.

Staff had trouble communicating in English, and breakfast was basic. Room was great, but couldn’t really see the stars on a cloudless night unless you really focus for more than 1 hour.

Spectacular star window and lake view

Clean room. Good portion in breakfast but it was cold when food reached our room. May be buffet breakfast could be better option. Other than that everything was good. Beautiful view from the room.

Very nice property

Everything is ok, not so bad. A 10 to 15 min to the town center to buy groceries at the supermarket.

We loved this accommodation. The host was extremely helpful. The apartment had excellent quality furnishings and fittings. The view from our room was gorgeous. Honestly, it was perfect!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Unique and Memorable Stay Galaxy Hotel is a truly unique and charming boutique property. The hotel is petite, cozy, and beautifully designed, creating a very special atmosphere. What made the stay unforgettable was the incredible roof window above the room. Being able to lie in bed and look directly at the night sky was magical. Lake Tekapo is famous for its dark skies, and the rooftop window gave me a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the stars from the comfort of my room. The experience felt peaceful, intimate, and unlike any other hotel stay I’ve had. If you’re looking for something special and want to experience the beauty of the night sky, I highly recommend Galaxy Hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing location and beautiful scenery

The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. Skylight over the bed to watch the stars.
