A couple of things…the pool and bar area was a posers paradise, it wasn’t where older people go to relax for an hour or so. We found a cockroach in our room (and trapped it under a glass and asked the cleaner to deal with it) The thing is, the room was clean and very well maintained and cannot imagine where it came from. Lastly, we booked the in-house restaurant for our last evening. The menu is small, which wasn’t an issue until we were told the two items with beef were off the menu. As a very fussy eater we chose to leave and the waitress didn’t really seem to care she just rushed to get the bill for the drinks we had. When checking out we were asked how our stay was and we mentioned the cockroach and restaurant issue and they took 15% off the drinks bills we put on our room which we didn’t expect.

Very good location, walking distance to all major attractions. Clean room, wonderful bathroom and possibly the best rain shower I have experienced. A bit of noise from the street from late night revellers but this was not bothersome.

Perfecto! Got recommended El Traga for lunch by the wonderful lady who checked us in and loved it. Within a nice area and within walk distance to many of the sites you don’t want to miss.

Upgraded room which a really nice surprise. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location walking distance to attractions and great shopping. Even though close to attraction and overlooking Magdalena Plaza, room was very quiet. Highly recommend this hotel and location.

Great breakfast pleasant staff in a really good location for restaurants and shopping etc

The facility is run my children. Literally. We returned after a day out approximately 10 pm. Turned over the cover to find dried blood on it. Called the front desk. Housekeeping had already gone home. The front desk male was mortified and didn't know what to do. The front desk female then came up and changed our sheets. No message from management or apologies the next day. On a broader note. We asked for thinner bed cover instead of the thick duvet. Hotels don't seem to carry anything but a duvet anymore. Spain gets hot folks. Your AC can't be brought down low enough to offset a really warm duvet.

Excellent location. Excellent staff.

The breakfast was superb. The bar staff are extremely friendly and hard working. Prices at the bar are very reasonable in comparison to similar 5 star hotels in other european cities.

Location is the best in the city. Rooms are small but clean. Lower floors are a bit noisy, breakfast was just average but the location beats everything.
