The things that stood out for me was the breakfast, breakfast staff and the sea view villa. The breakfast had a wide spread, with the option to order individual portions and fresh juice the highlight of a luxury resort. The sea view from my room was spectacular with the individual pool. What stood out was how panels were placed up with the intention for privacy. There were however areas which were lacking as well, their service. For eg. I arrived at 11am and their check in time was 3pm. There was strictly no compromise of checking in as I ended up checking in almost close to 3pm. I even emailed before arrival to schedule a massage session between 11am to 3pm, knowing that I might end up just waiting for them to get ready. They flatly tell me there wasn't any slot. They could have made arrangements to make it happen for me given that the request was made in advance. I don't even get an estimated time on when room is ready and was just left to wait. My check out was exactly the same. My flight was in the evening and my check out was strictly at 12pm. I made a request to check out at 1pm as I made an appointment with them on a facial at 1.30pm. However it was flatly rejected and they expected me to hang around from 12pm to 1.30pm just waiting. I'm not expecting them to accept all of my requests, but the way it was flatly rejected, without empathy for my situations in both situations, did not leave a good experience for me, even though there were things that stood out well.

Beautiful location and property, just a short ride from main beach if needed, but to be honest, what would you need to when this hotel ticks all the boxes. Very friendly and attentive staff.

The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options,rooms were immaculate,spa was amazing and customer service was top notch. Very friendly staff always willing to help. I will definitely be going back there!!!

This place is truly spectacular! I would recommend it to anyone and especially if you’re going for your Honeymoon. The staff are so friendly, plenty of food options, the spa is great as well as the infinity pools. They also have buggies for you to travel around easily at anytime. The front office respond to questions and queries swiftly and the views are breathtaking!

Silavadee is a small boutique resort when compared with many of the other high end resorts on Koh Samui. We had a 2BR villa with a pool for 2couples and enjoyed the privacy that it offered. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet and cook to order options were incredible. We also had dinner at the restaurant a couple of nights and enjoyed many wonderful Thai dishes that we can’t find at home.

Breakfast was great; unfortunately their gym was under construction so we had access to their temporary gym with poor equipment health.

Overall was an amazing stay. Staff are friendly and the property is well kept. Our ocean view pool villa was just what we wanted. Only 2 things that drop the rating to 4 stars instead of 5 1) wait time to get some items from housekeeping took almost 1hr (just 2 beach towels) - other services like calling a buggy or room service was very prompt and speedy 2) there was a wedding but the notification did not mention anything about loud music from the restaurant. (Only mentioned loud noise from a firework show at 1030pm - which was fine as we expected it) It went on for about 3 hrs. We could here all the music and lyrics clearly from our villa. We understand it is a wedding and a happy occassion but was not expecting the music (if any) to be that loud. If we knew we would have made arrangements to go out to town that night. It did ruin our night and was very unpleasant. We also could barely hear the TV with the music playing. We were about 3 or 4 villa ls away from the Star restaurant where the wedding was held Front office staff was nice and offered an apology meal but it doesnt amount to the 1 night value we lost to enjoy our night and villa. Hopefully the next wedding wont effect the next guests Other than that..amaIng property, great views and nice staff

Loved our stay at Silavadee! Everything was exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and the food was lovely! The views are really nice and they have a free shuttle available to Lamai or Chaweng.
