The hotel is very clean and tidy. I believe it is one of the better place to stay at when in Coober Pedy. Can highly reccomend it.

Well located and secure motel in Coober Pedy that was great for our one night stay. Kitchenette was great enabling us to do our own breakfast. Relatively expensive compared to other options in Coober Pedy.

Stay was great as usual. Room very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Love staying at Mud Hut as it is easy to find, has no steps, and parking is directly outside the room. As we have mobility issues, this is a big plus for us.

Arrived around 3.30pm, no one in office, had to ring to make contact, the receptionist could see me at the door! Was given a code to retrieve the key. Room was clean, and we were travelling with a dog. A good pet friendly place for Coober Pedy.

Door didn’t lock and shower was terrible. We’ve been staying at the mud hut for twenty plus years and the decline in it is accelerating over last two years.

Comfortable bed, quiet and clean room, good location, helpful staff. Very well priced. Highly recommended.
