Beautiful property Lovely breakfast catered for our vegetarian dietary requirements. Friendly staff and huge room.

Nice lodge with a log cabin feel. The decor is dated but very well maintained. Enjoyed our little deck out back with a view of the mountains.

Great location, wonderful lodge accommodation with amazing views. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Accommodations were excellent- clean, comfortable bed and lots of space.

Pretty dark room. A desk with no light around. A sofa with no light...in fact only two ceiling spotlights in wrong direction. TV was very small in big room...like PC monitor. Bathroom was, however, spacious. Lodge for breakfast was very nice. Breakfast itself was skimpy. Staff was friendly and supportive. Safe 20 min walk to village.

The room smells. I have to spend $ 25 (US) on an air freshener. The maid never changed our sheets or picked up the trash. I won't stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Westwood Lodge on the 22nd - 24th December. The lodge was huge, spotless, and very cosy with the log timber walls, very alpine! We were greeted by a super friendly hostess who was warm and welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast we received which was delicious!! Hot fresh eggs and all the usual continental sides and additions. The breakfast team also provided really wonderful service. The hotel was located on beautiful grounds with sweeping Mountain View’s and the common room with a fire place and an impressive snooker table was a great addition. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and merry Christmas!

The room was spotless and the manager fixed us a care package for the road as we had to leave at 6:00 am. It was a nice breakfast. Very quiet too

Spacious, spotless and well equipped ! Enjoying the view of the outdoors from their cozy, common area with fireplace added to the experience. Staff was courteous and breakfast was complete. Great choice for a visit to Franz Josef.
