Excellent old/style building with antiques.

Tucked away within a period house at the heart of town, well-kept rooms are strong on traditional charm and character. Staying here puts you close to anywhere you might want to go in Tainan while the resourceful and welcoming host pulls out all the stops to create a very memorable stay. Many thanks.

If you like old buildings with culture and characters, this place is very special. The owners are friendly and nice. Very good location and a good place to stay. However, this place is not a modern hotel so do not expect everything new.

Beautiful building with lots of character, in the best location at the heart of Tainan, great owner too.

Stylish and unique, traditional in architecture, located in the heart of old town where you are within minutes walk to restaurants, night market, etc. The owner was very nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of space to chill and relax. I highly recommend these accomodation. Note that this is a vintage building so the stairs treads leading up to the second and third floor rooms are steep and narrow. Also the bathrooms are a part of the bedroom, separated only by a curtain.

The property is located in the heart of downtown. The owner is very friendly and attentive.

We had a chance to talk to the owners, Tim and his wife and found out their thoughts towards their hotel. It is a real vintage building and Tim renovated reserving the original exteriors/interiors with good care. Tim explained it costs him a lot to maintain, but I admire his passion and feelings. I felt his love to reserve his hotel well. I felt like we were invited to Taiwan's old family house. Old, but good....... We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed every detail and antiques. Its location is convenient. Close to Tainan train station and famous tourist areas. I would stay there again next time.

The hotel is in a restored art deco townhouse which has been tastefully furnished with antiques. It's in a really good location with everything apart from Anping in walking distance. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean. The owner is friendly and knows loads about Tainan which was super fortunate for me. The bathroom situation is a little unusual but I understand why it's done that way, and as a solo traveler I wasn't bothered. Overall I'd stay again.
