The back exterior wall of this hotel still bears a huge Sheraton logo. They have not been part of that chain for 10+ years. The halls are a bit musty and the elevators reflect neglect and the staff do not show true hospitality. A decent place to stay if you have an early morning flight from Genoa Airport, but that’s the only reason I’d stay here.

Our stay could not have been worse.
From not being able to drive to the front of the hotel because of a gate to the shabby conditions in the room such as cracks and stains in the bathroom to a very uncomfortable bed. Great location to Airport though, not sure if that makes up for everything else.

My room was very spacious, the bathroom as well. The rooms have air conditioning, which makes them very comfortable and lets you sleep well at night, The rooms have large windows and are bright and inviting. Black-out curtains help you sleep at night.
From my room on the ninth floor I could watch the activities at the airport down below, where lots of smaller private planes arrived and were prepared for their next flight. That was very interesting and entertaining.

This hotel is a 3 minute walk direct to airport.
The pillows were soft and comfortable.
There was a mini fridge but no tea/coffee facilities which was the downside.

I arrived in severe pain due to the development of a Kidney Stone. I was quite early [like 11:00 AM]. The Front Desk Clerk was exceptionally alert and exceptionally kind and helpful. I did not even ask for early check-in, but he immediately identified a Room that was ready and checked me in immediately. I will forever be grateful for that act of kindness / compassion.!
