We loved our stay at Makkachiva. The staff took great care of us and the property is very charming. The location was also very accessible to the airport and town.

Very polite and helpful staff, great breakfast, near almost everything. Easy laundromat two doors down from entrance!

We had a lovely stay at this traditional hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always there to greet you, which made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, set right in the square of the old town. The only downsides were the limited storage and the very firm bed. The drawers are decorative, and with only a few hangers, you’ll likely end up living out of your suitcase. The mattress was quite hard — more like sleeping on a slab — though that comes down to personal preference. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a small, traditional property that offers an authentic Thai atmosphere you simply don’t get in modern hotels. I loved the little touches, like removing your shoes and using the provided slippers around the hotel. It’s a stunning place with so much character. Thank you to the team for your warm hospitality. We would definitely revisit in the future.

The Breakfast was amazing, amazing hospitality. There moto "food is simple and humble" what more can we ask for

Very nice hotel and staff. Loved the architecture. Wonderful breakfast.

Had a lovely one night stay here. Great location and staff.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Makkachiva. They were attentive, friendly and exceptionally helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The location is excelent, walking distance to many Wats and the Sunday night market just a few step away. Breaking was delicious. Only complaint was the bed a bit too firm but everything else was excelent! Woul definitely stay there again.

Very courteous staff, very clean and central for old town. Arranged Laundry, and the Breakfast is amazing, available 7-12 every day

Well located in old town and walkable to many cafes, restaurants and temples. Helpful and excellent staff, very unique with charming decor, and an amazing made to order breakfast. Upgrade your room to get an amazing view of the temples and mountains.
