The air conditioning worked well, which was a first for us in our adventures around Italy. They allowed us to check in early which we greatly appreciated!!! The check in was quick. The room was clean save the wrench in the shower, which was eventually removed. They called a taxi for us to take us to the airport, which was great. I was personally disappointed that the airport shuttle wasn’t available, but I will know for the future to reserve the airport shuttle at least 2 weeks in advance with them. Cold water was provided at the reception, which is also rare in Italy. It was pretty quiet, I was woken twice by noise outside and then in the hallway, but with ear plugs it was just fine.

Fabulous for access to Venice. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet very nice.

The hotel is is very nice and clean!

We were given 2 rooms for disabled guests with bathrooms for disabled guests - even though we are not disabled and did not make a request for these rooms. We were also not notified on check in that we were given these rooms. The toilets were difficult for us to manage, the seats didn't fit properly on the toilet. And the showers were also very uncomfortable and hard to manage, especially the shower doors, so water went everywhere. We were uncomfortable and dissatisfied abd wondered why the hotel gave us these rooms. We are not likely to book at a Holiday Inn again following this experience.
