Rooms clean, staff helpful, everyone was very friendly.

Great place

We really loved our stay at Akra. First of all the buffet was delicious and probably the best hotel food we’ve ever had. Really wide range of dishes for all meals and a generous breakfast spread that goes from 6:30am until midday! The staff were all really friendly and were helpful (shout out to Rabia and Meryem) particularly as we had our toddler with us. The resort itself was very family friendly with baby and kids pools as well as one for adults only. There’s also a kids club and playroom for kids. The room was exceptionally clean and was very spacious. They provided us with the amenities we needed for our toddler including a bathtub. All in all, really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Lovely amenities and very good room service. Rooms were clean, lovely views, and great cleaning staff. Pool staff were very slow, alongside the Concierge not being as friendly and helpful as I thought, considering I was a solo traveller seeking some local suggestions. Overall a great stay, with a great on-site gym and pool setting.

Its a great property and good value for money paid. But the rooms are not sound proof and you can hear everyone in the doorway and next rooms

This was an impressive hotel in the way it was built and maintained. But, I stayed in many hotels that were as impressive in these dimensions. What differentiated AKRA in a very significant way from others was the quality of its service and the way hotel staff strove to meet and exceed their customers' needs, small and large. I was delighted with the way the young concierge helped me to find a medicine, I was thrilled when the room service operator asked me how happy I was with the food, I was very pleasantly surprised when the vale helped us to load my luggage into my friends car by rearranging all that was already in the trunk, spending time for all of this with a pleasant smile on his face. These are not acts of kindness that one should take for granted. They are examples of an extraordinary focus on customer delight, and for that, I thank hotel Akra and wish them continuous success. Akra hotel is a gem in center of town. It was perfect location when booking tours. Staff was amazing especially Ahmed who was one of the bag handlers. He was so kind and genuine. Asmani restaurant was amazing and had amazing views. Pool was incredible. Beach area was a little tight. Unforgettable stay.

What a great hotel, spotlessly clean, well decorated, staff were very helpful and mostly very polite. None were rude, just a small few seemed to be not that interested in engaging with customers. The breakfast had a massive selection to choose from and all very well cooked. With a good mixture of Turkish and foreign dishes. I only have 2 gripes, the room we had was supposed to have a king bed, I am 2m tall so that is why I chose that room, but it definitely not a king size, my feet were hanging off the end. The other thing was as a gold VIP member I should have got a free room upgrade if they had spare rooms, however they were trying to charge me if I wanted to upgrade, so they obviously had rooms Available. Then a day later they put a note under the door saying I can upgrade for free and by that time we had unpacked and didn't want the hassle of changing rooms. We are also fairly certain we didn't get the 15% discount on spa services. But these are minor faults, not enough to knock it down from a 5* rating. The guys at the scuba diving are really good, friendly and have now got me hooked on scuba diving!
