Excellent!

The hotel is a real gem in the city, with its great history and architecture. But the staff go above and beyond making a stay there a treat. A must stay in LA.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Parking is expensive, but I guess comes with the territory. The only disappointment is that I upgraded the room and was expecting a city view, instead got a brick wall.

An elegant, historic hotel. Our room, 494, was almost the size of my small home. Great location, close to some excellent restaurants and within walking distance of the Grand Central market. Fabulous decor.

The staff was VERY nice and helpful. They were quick to respond when we asked for a kettle and extra towels. Also, they sent maintenance right away when our TV wasn't working. The place is clean and we enjoyed our stay. Close to everything.

Overall, our stay was good. The room was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. The downside was the beds, which felt a bit small for three people. Other than that, everything was fine.”

What a unique historical stay!

While the hotel itself is a historic and impressive property, that is where it stops. The rooms are extremely undermaintained and run down. Cleaning in the room was not up to the mark. The sheets had stains, the sink had hair from the previous guests and the surfaces weren’t cleaned down properly. The area surrounding the hotel also felt unsafe and dangerous after a certain point at night. Also, they don’t offer any room service, which feels bizarre. Overall we were disappointed in our stay. The location of the hotel was the only saving grace. Oh and they were shooting the Apple TV show “the morning show” while we were staying there, so I guess that was kinda exciting? All in all, Will likely not be returning.

The staff behind the desk and security were extremely helpful. I sprained my ankle the first day and thankfully security gave me ice packs to keep the swelling down. Im pretty sure they saved my trip. My only complaint was the property showed its age and the old windows provided zero blocking. You can hear everything out there.

The hotel is beautiful just has a lot of patches on the walls that looks unkempt. We had to change rooms 3 times. One was the wrong room,two no toilet paper and the water from the sink was coming out dirty and toilet water was orange when flushing.
