The apartments are in a covered pedestrian shopping district, repurposed from a warehouse with very high ceilings. It is two levels with the bedroom loft over the downstairs. It is very roomy and surprisingly quiet. It is steps from public transport and the Food Hallen and the Ten Kate Street Market. It’s also 20-30 minutes walking distance to the museums and Vondelpark. The king bed was comfortable, and the bathroom upstairs is small but has a lovely shower. (The water can get scalding hot). There is a toilet downstairs, too. As Americans, we are still on the combo washer-dryer learning curve. This was our biggest challenge, and we left with wet laundry, delaying the start to our day as we found a laundromat to dry out clothes. Considerations: There are a lot of stairs, both getting up to the apartment as well as to the bedroom on the second floor, so keep in mind if you have small children or mobility issues. There is just one set of keys, and you have to lock yourself in to the apartment. The kitchen is a bit sparse, with a microwave but no conventional oven. The coffee maker and supplies provided amazingly good espresso, but there is no pantry, so we purchased all our own food supplies, including salt and pepper. There is a knife and a little parer, but not much else. But there is so much in the neighborhood to eat, this wasn’t much of an issue. All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

The space was as advertised. Great location! Close to trams. The living room furnishings were quite stained and dirty. The King sized bed was extremely comfortable. The all-in-one washer/dryer did not work well but used the drying rack.

This apartment was perfect for our family of four spending a week in Amsterdam. It was so great to have the extra space that came with large bedrooms plus kitchen/dining/living area. The location is very walkable to much of the city, and multiple tram lines are just a block or two away from getting you everywhere else. It is only a few minutes to tons of restaurants, and there is a grocery store across the street. Plus there is a street market a block away with other great food options. And don’t we visited Foodhallen three times! An added unexpected bonus is that we left AMS on King’s Day, and this neighborhood is far enough away from the city center that it wasn’t too crowded and the streets were all open. The only downside was a stale smoke smell that lingered in the living room. I’m not sure if it was from previous guests or other units or just people outside. But it wasn’t a big enough problem to affect us.

Apartment was ok. For what we paid, I was expecting a lot more. There was nothing about no elevators. Location was great. Photos of the apartment are deceiving. I could of had two hotel rooms for the same price.

Very large apartment on two floors. Very quiet and safe area. Convenient food options. Highly recommend.

This is a tricky review- we had 2 rooms a larger room with kitchenette and a smaller room for our teenage girls. Our hosts were helpful, kind and met us upon check in. our room was comfortable and spacious and had beautiful stain glass original to the home. Unfortunately the neighborhood is literally under construction however not much work is being done so it’s quiet. It’s very close to the train station. If your room is at the back of the house you hear the trains very clearly. You’re sharing this home with others as each room is a suite in a larger home. It’s not the owners fault but their neighbors don’t keep their yards tidy so your view is the neighbor doing whatever. It looks like it was an amazing location before they started demolishing the area for the train station expansion. Short walk to train station. Incredible bakery a street over and a neighborhood market to get items to use in our kitchenette. A mixed bag - we did not know about the construction beforehand but overall great experience.

Apartment was a bit worn down. It was also very difficult to find!

I personally liked it because my aunt lives nearby. The shopping, access to tram and city centre make this a great place to stay, A market practicallly out the door and tram down the street have easy transportation. Since it is not city centre it is in a quiet area and good service at the hotel desk.

Exceptional value, will be coming here again in future trips. Stunned by how much space we had! Great amenities, including everything needed for basic cooking, washing clothes. Convenient location. No noise problems. Tips: (1) loud pigeons on the roof nearby are scared off if you flip the window shades up & down a couple of times, and they don’t come back for quite a while. (2) Nice fans are provided for the really warm days and we found that propping the door open downstairs with the most powerful fan blowing air up & and doors to living areas propped open, during cooler part of the morning/evening, quickly circulated enough cool air to make it comfortable.

The property was good but use to have fans cooler options so the fan was helpful as well as the washer/dryer combination. Two levels for bedroom and the lower for kitchen/living area with stairs was unusual but fine. Recommend
