The location was fantastic, across the square from the train station and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, grocery store, bakery, etc. We were on the 6th floor and loved the view and the bed, it was nice and firm. The room was clean and was set up very nicely, with desk, end tables, chair, hooks to hang your jacket, back packs, etc. Breakfast buffet was great and we loved the hot chocolate. Everything else was great except the lighting in the bathroom, it was a bit dark for us. We would definitely stay here again next time we are at The Hague.

The hotel was perfect for our needs, however be aware it is a hybrid hotel and community/ student space. The bar is a great space, the restaurant very passable at the price (chicken burger is excellent) and wine reasonably priced. Breakfast at weekends till 11, perfect for parkrunners. Rooms a tad basic, but clean, comfortable and well maintained The staff are great, friendly and informal Overall enjoyable stsy and for us attending the parkrun at Zuiderpark, very convenient

This is an updated version of the 1970's youth hostel. It's definitely not 5 star, and the people are great but attention to details and the user experience are only slightly above average. Maybe I'm a harsh judge, but this property is utilitarian in every way ... nothing more.

Clean and quiet, conveniently located.

The breakfast was really good. It's part of student accommodation so there's a university feel with lots of young people.

We enjoyed our stay at The Social Club. Definitely a cute property, and served what we needed well. Staff was great. The vibe was a bit "young" for us but was still well appointed and we appreciated how eco- and socially-conscious the venue was. Parking was tricky, and not sure we were really in the best part of the Hague given our very limited time in the city. But on the whole a very positive experience. The price was great too!

Good hotel

Student-focused hotel but comfortable double room. Service a bit haphazard. Quite a walk from the centre but there’s a tram stop and train station very close. Daily room cleaning was good. Breakfast a bit overpriced if you don’t get there early as things run out and staff don’t seem to notice. Quiet room unless you open the window (it overlooked the outside socialising area).
