The staff were very helpful, great doormen, very friendly and polite! Dining options across the road and nearby were really good. Museums a10 minute walk away. Breakfast was fine, rooms basic and not to standard of the photos in the Expedia ad. It’s in rough condition and small rooms. Book only if you need for one or two nights for onward travel. The pool did leak extensively from the second floor when we were there so hopefully they got that fixed. This may be an ongoing problem as we didn’t have water for part of the day. If this occurs in your room they will move you to a room with running water. Don’t book this hotel for the pool. It also needs a bit of a clean. No elevator, many stairs, we were on the 4th floor. The all male desk staff were especially helpful when our 12go booking never occured. They helped us with phone calls and translation into Laos when needed. They also have extensive options for tours and onward travel and would suggest booking through a local company rather then 12go in Laos. We did witness some single male tourists trying to flirt with all of the female employees at this hotel and would encourage travellers that if that is your kind of tourism to find another hotel. Please be respectful and the employees seemed stressed/nervous by this behaviour. While the hotel is dated it is mainly full of tourists that are couples or families.

Room was very adequate, not overly large but ok. Like most SE Asian beds, quite firm. Great location. Staff very polite and helpful. Pool very good .

Just not my cup of tea, it stated 3 star but not in my head, hotel Had construction going on and I sat on the bed and it almost fella apart, the shower was electric and just closer to a hostel than a hotel , I left and booked in to another hotel. I was much happier, the cost was a give away really but did not know what to expect, I shall not be doing it again

Not clean poor property maintenance

I'm sure this was a great hotel 75 years ago. Sadly, not today.

This is the second time staying here in week. This is the best hotel in Vientiane, Laos. Incredible staff, service, rooms, food, location, what else? Everything just perfect here. All of the staff is so friendly & accommodating. I was very relaxed and comfortable here. Slept good, ate good, was very happy.

Great hotel in Vientiane. Great staff and service. Rooms are very nice. Pool is good, breakfast is wonderful. Great location. This really is a great hotel in Laos. I highly recommend it. The workers are so nice and welcoming and that makes a big difference. I will stay 1 extra night here because it's so good.
