Stayed one night in February. This is a budget hotel, and I am rating this as a budget hotel. The property is basic, clean, no thrills. The room was adequate, the bathroom was a bit tight, felt like in a space capsule. Sleep was comfortable. Had a desk to do my remote work. Walking distance to the U-Bahn station. There is a supermarket around the corner. Reception staff was helpful - helped me out with the parking and were reasonable with my request for late (30 min) check out time. Had a (frozen) pizza warmed up for my dinner for 8 euros. That was not bad. Overall, an excellent place for those on a budget.

Lovely staff and room, car parking is limit at pront but more in basement mixed with other shop and unsecured

Short stay been several times to this property and staff and property are great thank you for my stay

Old hotel with new staff. After I made reservation and paid forbit, they wanted to take money again eith excuse that they did not receive my reservation

For a guy that always stays at the 5 star hotels, staying at the Ibis was a decision based on location and convenience. Going in I knew I wouldn’t have all the usual amenities, man I was wrong. I was there for work and figured I would spend as little time in the room. I shipped 200 pounds worth of goods ahead of my arrival to the hotel for my work, Fabio at the front desk received them for me , accepted them and even took them to my room. He was the most helpful hotel staff I have ever met in my 17 years of traveling for work. This guy gets it, he takes the Ibis hotel and elevates it. Always courteous and ready to help, when I’m in Dortmund again I will definitely stay at the ibis. It’s my German home. Fabio if you read this, keep up the great attitude, I wish you much success.

No tea or coffee bag not even a kettle in the room . No glass for water . Very disappointing. The rest good overall.

The room is okay, not very clean though. The walls and door are extremely thin so that one hears everything of what is happening in the hall.

Nothing unique about hotel but easy to get in and out of city either on foot or by underground

This is a no frills hotel. If you just need a place to lay your head then this will work. Rooms were sized ok and bathroom was tiny. Parking is very tight in a supermarket parking lot. Breakfast was eh but cant beat free breakfast. Not the place to stay for a vacation but if you need a place just for a night it will work.

Easy to get to under ground parking and air conditioned very basic snacks available but the local area is serviced well with restaurants some within walking distance. There’s a “local boozer” very close which is a truly unique experience it plays deaf metal quietly in the back ground odd but the beers good
