Excellent stay, very welcoming reception staff. The lady on reception gave us some local Belgian sweets and we also got free drinks vouchers due to the inconvenience of the construction going on at the hotel. Bit of a pain if you have lots of luggage as the current entrance is down some steep stairs and a bit of a walk from the car park. Car park was free (maybe due to the building works going on?) Our hotel room seemed to have been renovated recently, it was beautiful, very clean and plenty of space for a family of 4. Mini fridge which had 4 bottles of water and 2 chocolate bars, 2 huge TVs and a very comfy sofa bed. The room even had a lovely dining table and 4 chairs. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Very short walk to the tram station and around 25 min trip into Ghent city centre. We would definitely stay again!

Hotel is located next to the autoroute and a couple of mins walk to the l tram to the centre of Ghent. Room was big and clean, and the ongoing renovation works were handled well so didn’t impact our stay. Recommended if you want to explore the city as a stop en route elsewhere.

I,m sure the hotel is normally great but they are undergoing some significant renovations at the moment so the bar and restaurant are a little makeshift. Really nice staff though and super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again when all the work is completed.

Great hotel, right next to the Flanders expo where we were visiting and super easy to access via tram. Room was clean, newly decorated and staff very pleasant and friendly.

The hotel is okay, but I had black mold in the bathroom, low water pressure in the shower so could as we’ll have showered in the sink and the gym was closed even though it was advertised. The breakfast was very pricy for what you got, 20€ for what you’d get for 8€ at other places. I could stay here again as it is still so close to the work site and the beds were nice and there were no bedbugs but I wouldn’t recommend Holiday Inn if you have other alternatives.

The place was perfect for the price. The public transportation (tram) was close (200 m). Easy accession by car, close to the highway. Morning drilling in the building was little annoying. Hallways were worn out, but all was functional.
