Excellent business hotel close to city sights.

The best thing about this hotel is its terrific location. It is right on the popular shopping street of Wangfujing. There are two subways stations very close by and tons of restaurants and shops. Tian'anmen Square is about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel rooms are showing their age. But, the room has a good desk and desk chair -- important for anyone who needs to do work while in Beijing. Breakfast is a bit pricy -- about $14. The staff was very helpful.

Breakfast is fantastic. Staffs are very helpful. Right on the Wangfujing shopping center. This is a very good place to stay.

SERVICES: Whenever we requested anything from hotel services, such as drinking water (it was very hot during our visit), the response was immediate and fulsome. LOCATION: Situated next to the famous Wangfujing shopping strip (retail shops on a major street blocked off from vehicle traffic--foot traffic only), the hotel was central to all our needs. THE ROOM: The room was nice, but on the floor that connected to bathroom to rest had a raised marble divider that caused me and my wife a few late night stubbed toes. Why was this there? To make sure we were fully awake during our nocturnal water breaks, I guess. THE CONCIERGE: He arranged tickets and didi cars throughout our stay, making our stay run much more smoothly. Great job. THE KITCHEN: Their ability to cook western style food was very limited but portions were large and the variety was decent. But finding people working in the evenings proved rather sporadic. INTERNET: Speaking of sporadic, the Wifi was consistently inconsistent. The signal would fluctuate to the point of aggravation. My wife loved that I wasn't ever able to log into my emails freeing my morning routine. She didn't as much appreciate my grumpiness the rest of the morning, however. Staying connected with friends and relative (not to mention tour guides) is an important aspect of traveling far from home, these days. So, for me, this pebble in my shoe completely undermined the peace and tranquility of my holiday.

Love the hotel and in the middle of everything

The location was great for shopping.

The hotel was really nice and in the perfect location. The staff were super friendly on arrival and helped us out of the taxi with bags and showed us to the reception. The hotel atrium is very grand, the inside reminded me of a cruise ship. There was a fountain, large seating area and glass lifts. It was really plush and a nice welcome. The room was large and nice. It had a little corridor and then the room had a nice bathroom with shower cubicle and separate bath. The bed was big and comfy and the maids were amazing. We left them a nice bit of feedback on how well they cleaned the room and they gave us more complimentary water the next time. The sheets were clean and the room had everything we needed, from iron, safe to fridge and TV. If I was being really picky I would say that the view isn't good, but we were barely in the room so this was not an issue at all. The artwork in the room was also really nice and an insight to the city. 10/10, I would stay here again.

Good location, but room needs work. Everything else was nice, easy location, metro nearby, and staff were helpful. Location made getting around Beijing simple. Only downside was our room. The bathroom needs an upgrade, flush was broken and taps were loose. Not very appealing. If they fix the rooms, it would be a great stay.

Property excellent all around. A little dated but everything great. Breakfast excellent. Clean rooms. Shops vary close. Staff great. Area very quiet and safe. Perfect stay to visit city.

The unit as great. and the staff were very helpful
