Staff fabulous, very traditional old hotel with very comfortable bed!

Room had mould around shower. No fan in room. (Very warm when stayed).

Stayed for one night without breakfast. Room was a good size and shower was good. Surprised no flannels in the bathroom and had to request teabags and milk as there were only 4 coffee pods and 1 packet of hot chocolate in the room. The hotel is listed as luxury and at 250 ponds for 1 night without breakfast I was dissapointed

All in all great value and a really nice hotel, as I paid £212 for two rooms per night, the cooked breakfast however was not just overpriced at £21 it wasn't even very good , saying that we would return again without question

Nice staff, good location, easy access to the public transportation to the downtown and decent distance from the airport. Facility can use an upgrade. Carpets and room looked old, and not castle or 4 star caliber ..

Beautiful rooms friendly staff great location. Walking distance to downtown Glasgow if you didn't mind walking a bit.

We loved the property, afternoon tea, dinner, and staff. Exploring the neighborhood and Pollock Park were highlights. The only downside was that this was a splurge for us to say we had stayed in a “castle” in Scotland. To our surprise, our room was around back, not in the actual castle. It was disappointing, but we weren’t going to let it ruin our stay.

This was someone's home that they modeled into a castle, just a forewarning, if you're looking for history - there isn't any. But the service was beyond stellar, the bed was super comfy and the shower was outstanding! This is not in a walkable part of town. But the restaurant was lovely and the bar keep was incredibly inviting at 10:30 pm when our bodies were on a different time zone.

Excellent in every category. No issues or problems. Just what a vacation is supposed to be like.

The restaurant was excellent ! The food was amazing!
