Clean in a good location

Great location. Older hotel but kept clean. Depending on your room the bathroom can be very small.

All the steps to our room were hard and we even had a few steps down into our bedroom but everyone & everything else was wonderful. We didn’t eat breakfast there so cannot comment on the food.

If you want a midevil experience this is it. Room was big with air conditioning, Bathroom looked like it was newly renovated with a beautiful soaker tub that had a hand held shower. There was no elevator, but they had a staff member take our luggage up to our room. The ceiling were very low so would not be good for a 6ft person, carpet on the floor was not very clean roof top patio that we could not use because the door was broken and it was closed, no English tv stations, this was a very disappointing hotel. Not well cared for.

We were two seniors that were given a room on the 2nd floor. No elevator, but at checkin there was help to take the luggage up. There was a warning on our door. As soon as we opened the door, there was a set of steps leading down to a room. It is in a great location. Our bed was also on a slope to the side.

Air conditioning didn’t work. We had to open the window for air. Everything else was good.

Staff was okay. They didn’t have an iron or any essentials you would expect from a hotel. Showers didn’t work- water would barely come out. We got more water from the hand washing sink than the shower. there’s not an elevator and i have elderly parents. We walked up 6 flights of stairs each day to get to our room.

The rooms were very clean and they provided extra blankets in case you are cold. There is a fridge for you to use as well. The staff is very kind and accommodating as well! You do have to keep the keys on premise (give them each time you leave) but there is always someone there to rapidly give you the keys upon return. The hotel location is also very close to San Marco and Doge palace, and the ports aren’t far either for water traveling. The cons are the air conditioning and the shower. The air conditioning would not work and each time we turned it on it would blow warm air into the room. The shower had 0 water pressure and would work for about 3-5 second and then come to a drizzle/stop for 3-5 seconds and then return. It was quite a hassle to shower and would take everyone much longer to get ready.
